The food is very good (or at least, the food I always get - which is the same thing every time - is very good). The only way it could be any better is if I took a bath or a sauna while eating. I have used this restaurant about 10 times and the staff have never done anything terrible to me, until today. My burrito that I always get seems to have been halved in size since last week. I am not sure if they are trying to cut down on expenses or if it was just the mistake of the employee who made my burrito. In any case, a few people were watching over her as she assembled my burrito, so somebody should have called her out. (I didn't have the nerve to do it myself.) I asked her for a few of the same burrito, so she assembled it many times, which means she knew exactly what was going in it, so while the first time assembling the burrito I can see how she might be conservative with how much of each ingredient she puts into it, on the subsequent burritos, since she had foreknowledge of the contents of the whole burrito from start to finish, THERE IS NO EXCUSE. Now don't get me wrong - just because my burritos were halved in size while retaining the usual price, does not mean that I am requesting a 50% refund of $14.77 (the total price of all my burritos that I ordered on this gloomy day, was $29.54). No, that is not what I am trying to do at all. I just think the staff should do a better job of hovering over each-others shoulders to make sure the people assembling the burritos do a good job. But on a more positive note, the manager lady (or the lady who I think is the manager, but I could be wrong) is kind of hot, if this is a socially acceptable thing to say. I'm not going to do anything creepy, so don't lose your mind. I just think it's an ethical obligation of any man to inform every attractive woman he encounters that she is attractive, once and only once, (unless they're married, in which case, he can do it more). Men who fall short of this obligation deserve...
Read moreOrdered online for a promised pick-up time of 6:15pm. Didn't get my food until 6:45 while I had to wait outside with 20 other people. I understand being busy, but there could have been a few more employees rolling burritos than just leisurely filling bags of chips when the line is around the block and you're way behind on orders.
After I got home with my order I sat down for a nice hangover burrito. I immediately noticed something was wrong with the first bite. It was an explosion of lettuce. I never ordered lettuce. So I disassembled my food like a 3 year old to see what else was wrong. There was barely enough chicken for a single order when I ordered double; the lettuce was wilted and disgusting, even though I didn't order it; and there was no sour cream at all.
This isn't the first time I've had a problem with this location. Back to lettuce, about mid June I went in to order some tacos and I was scanning the ingredients. The lettuce was seriously slimy, yellow and should have been condemned. I asked the guy at the counter if they had any fresh lettuce. "That's the freshest we have. It is still good." I almost puked all over the glass because he was still going to use it for other people.
Another time I had a similar episode to the first one where my burrito was made incorrectly with missing ingredients, mainly they like ripping you off with not adding the extra chicken. What the heck, guys?
Now everything is online there. I can't even believe they don't allow assembly line ordering. Just makes me feel like something shady is happening there. They have even moved their assembly line to a back room. I don't get that at all.
If you do have a problem with this restaurant I hope you don't try to call and complain. No one will pick up the phone, or you will be hung up on without even being connected to someone.
Good luck with this place. They seem to be scamming you because they know you can't eat there and won't notice their corruption until...
Read moreWell, I guess I get to join the group of people giving this particular location an extremely negative review. I placed an order from DoorDash this evening for a burrito bowl, chips and guac, and a Mexican Coke. I did not receive my chips and guac at all. My burrito bowl was missing several key ingredients, such as lettuce and fajita vegetables. My order was also ice cold (delivery was on time so this was definitely served that way). I tried multiple ways to contact the restaurant this evening, including calling the location directly. Their automated voice system is impossible to navigate, but finally got to a place where I could leave a voicemail - though I'm doubtful I will get a return call back. Next, I tried going to their website to see if they had a "contact us " form. I finally found one buried on one of their subpages, but it wasn't working. The page would just continue to refresh when choosing options. As a last resort, I tried messaging them through Facebook Messenger, where I'm also doubtful I'll get a response. I very rarely go through these lengths to try to contact a business with a negative experience, but based on the host of negative reviews for this location on Google and DoorDash, I truly hope that somebody at corporate sees the feed back and implements changes at this location. For those considering their dinner here tonight, I strongly encourage you to take your business elsewhere.
UPDATE 11/7: I see the restaurant commented on my post saying to use the "contact us" form. They must not have read in my post that their form isn't working. I never did receive a call from my voicemail...
