I’m a Door Dasher and the wait was ridiculous, after asking several girls as they walked by (the wait time was 15 minutes after the allowed pick up time) after being completely ignored I stood at the counter waiting for yet another employee to walk by as I am waiting one employee throws a pizza in the trash. I wait an additional 7 minutes and then asked again how much longer, the girl goes in the back comes back out walks straight by me never says a word goes to the drink station gets her a drink and goes back to chatting. I then a little louder said can ya check on my order she hollers back to the kid making the pizza (the one who threw one away) and then says can you let her know (she’s standing right there) he comes around the corner and says so sorry I had to remake the pizza, I then asked is the one you threw away my order he said yes I had to remake it. I at this point said next time let me know. Now we are looking at another 10-15 minutes so I go to my car for 10 more minutes and when I go back inside I asked again how much longer so I can let my customer know he says I just put it in the oven. When the order was done the employee said I’m sorry it took so long I sad that’s fine just next time let me know what’s going on so I can inform my customer, the girls just started laughing. Very unprofessional behaviors. I am a Dasher, I have a pick up by and drop off by, these in general are adaptable, but not only is it my customer who has no idea what the wait is, it is time consuming for me as well for one pizza I spent just under an hour waiting for the order alone that does not include...
Read moreI was very disappointed in the pizza we received. A friend told me this was the best pizza place in town, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I will grant to them that they made the pizza quickly, so I did not have to wait for it, but I would also say that their haste came at the price of quality. The toppings were very unevenly distributed, and it seemed as if there was practically no sauce on the pizza at all. The crust on the outside was burnt while the crust in the middle was almost soggy. The paper-thin crust could not hold the toppings, due to the layer of greasy, salty hamburger underneath the cheese. Now, typically, I love a generously meaty pizza. And I will admit that the hamburger portion was generous, however, whenever I took a bite of this pizza, all I could taste was salt. The other ingredients I could hardly detect, apart from the 8 pieces of sausage I counted on top. I told my wife I would have rather gotten a Little Caesars pizza, which (up until recently) was on the bottom of my list of pizza places. Had I done so, I would have saved 25$, being as I spent 30 on it. I rarely write poor reviews, but after this experience, I thought it was necessary. Perhaps it will save someone...
Read moreIf you don't care what I have to say, then don't go through the motion of asking how the food is as you walk by my table. Awesome soup, the best kneophla! Great ambiance. Tired buffet that no one seems to check, even after I mentioned it was low. 10 laces of dried out linguini in a bin is not ok. Awesome garlic bread, but only a few heels left in the bin. Dry chicken seemed to have been sitting there for hours, tough to chew. Canned chocolate pudding? C'mon, do better. A box of brownie mix is a buck, throw it in a skillet. Inedible cracker/crust under the dessert pizza. I'm not a fan of their pizza, but I'm a NY'er, Sammy's isn't my style pizza. Another site advertised kids eat free Tuesday at Sammy's. I was told they don't do those specials any more. No concern for which site is misadvertising them or desire to accommodate me. $23 for 1 adult and 1 kid buffet, with water. Sorry to say, Pizza Ranch is $15 for me on Kids Eat Free Tuesday. And the buffet is kept stocked. I would choose the local guy over the chain, but the local guy's staff doesn't seem to...
