I made my first and last visit to the place today. I'll start with the positives; staff were upbeat and pleasant. The establishment was clean and appropriately decorated. However, at 12 noon on a work-week day, there were no customers? Should have been my first red flag. I asked the waiter if a burrito and chili relleno was a possible lunch combo. The waiter said, "yes, number 2 special, with rice and beans." That's what I ordered. I figured for $8, how I could not go wrong. I was way off. The burrito was so small it made an enchilada look HUGE. The chili relleno was about 1/3 the size I've ever been severed anywhere, ever. But for $8, I figured I could not go wrong. I was way off. They essentially charged me for two $8 lunch specials because "we made combo special for you." That's clearly not what the waiter intimated when I asked before I ordered. So, $16 for the smallest lunch portion every put before me and a $4 fountain drink too boot. I'll never go back and I can't recommend you try it either, unless you want over priced, horribly average...

The interior is really cool, we ate early as in 11am and people were already eating.
The service was great, food was fresh and good. Portions were fair as was the price. Might try a few other dishes in the future.
The wings were on the small side and bit overcooked. Loved the shrimp and the pork tacos. We tried the ground beef, shredded chicken, chorizo soft tacos.
Flavor was good but a tad dry, was missing diced tomatoes on the tacos. Should have added guac to tacos but we wolfed it down! The guacamole was AMAZING!
Steak was decent, same with the rice and beans. Really nice staff so will try a few other dishes. Really enjoyed the mild salsa, we polished it and the chips off as well.
My favorite is still Monterrey on 74 (cannot beat the portions, prices, flavors)! But I want to try the empanadas at Coco and...
Read moreWife and I went to try this new place out. Food, service and atmosphere was great. However, I was shocked to see a non-disclosed ‘dine-in’ charge added to our tab. What is this charge? Shouldn’t this be disclosed ??? (Would give 5 stars except for this surprise). Our tab for 3 Taco Tuesday tacos, cheese dip, 1 order of birria quesadillas, 2 margaritas and the dine in charge was over $70.00. I find this expensive. The food was good. We will more than likely return but beware of non disclosed dine-in charge.
Edit: after 3 weeks I have not received any refunds to my credit card for this charge. However, I have eaten here several times since my initial visit(one time with a party of eight) and the ‘dine-in’ charge has not reappeared. The food, ambience, drinks and friendly staff makes this place a Winner. Put them on your...
