We have occasionally dropped into this store over the years to check out the different games and equipment they have. Recently we had a special request from a family member for a Japanese shogi board for a birthday gift. At the time it was extremely difficult to get them personally imported in and theyre very rare to find in stock in the states. We tried calling several other tabletop stores in the area. The guys here were polite, understanding, and extremely helpful. They were able to special order the board AND receive well before the birthday deadline. The board is in excellent shape and perfect to give as a gift. Communication was excellent as well! As a bonus we also found a board game while we were shopping around at the time. It was super fun too! Looking forward to shopping here again in the future and possibly playing some games there as well! Thank you so much for making this birthday...
Read moreHonestly it looks like a run down store that is trying to sell off current inventory, and close. Staff was nice and tried to be helpful & they have a lot of board games and some scattered 40k stuff but the main things like warhammer, d&d, MTG, ( they don’t sell singles for tag’s, lol wtf) Lorcana, etc that have BARE minimum coverage. And I do mean BARE. Nothing was organized, You couldn’t tell if you were looking at deck boxes for Star Wars or magic or Yu-Gi-Oh! or one piece, they were all just smashed in amongst each other. A year ago I could walk in and buy collector boosters from 3-4 past sets, today the best I could do was a play booster for duskmourn they didn’t even have a single foundations booster. Anyone looking for even a bad game store should steer away...
Read moreThis place is great. I picked up some Hordes stuff late last summer and was interested in trying it out. I scoped this place out a few times while constructing my army and finally went for miniatures night on Thursday one week in November or December. Everyone has been extremely welcoming and patient as I learned the ropes and I've made a couple dozen new friends. I have been in the store most days of the week and it seems there is always something going on and the Warmachine/Hordes scene is particularly excellent.
In general it is unlike some other game stores I have been in as most of the place is open to make room for all the tables. It's a good size and the full wall windows on both sides help differentiate it from the usual dungeon-like game store.
Highly...
