So while in Charlotte for buisness I decided to check this place out. First off let me tell you about me and my experience in Korean Food. I am Korean, born in Seoul and raised by my Korean mother and Korean Aunt. My family owns two Korean Restaurants and both have city awards from Louisville. So the atmospheres is good and quiet. The music however was jazz music. I was expecting some Korean minsogak, or even BTS. Pictures on the wall were representing the small cities of Korean culture and that was good to see. The waitress which there was only one was Asain, I tried to speak to her in Korean but I don't know if she spoke any.
So now lets go to the food, I ordered the Hot Stone Bibimbop bowl, It came out hot and the waitress put a bottle of Korean gojuchang infront of me as if It was my responsibility to add it to a dish that should already have it in it. The rice was already fried and harden at the bottom of the bowl, some of it was burnt. So I had a couple of bites and then ordered the famous Galbi. 🙃 Galbi is a traditional dish in Korea and well let me say nothing was traditional about this dish. Too many onions at the bottom and too many sesame seeds on top that over powered the flavor of the meat.
So I packed the rest and decided to take it home on my two hour drive and feed it too my dog's, hopefully they don't feel the same way as I did. I have traveled around the world and around United States for business and I always try to find a local Korean Restraunt that will help me feel like home and taste like I was the young boy in my moms lap eating...
Read moreRead moreUsed to be good… raised prices + updated the menu for more options but it’s only quantity NO QUALITY. No pictures but I had hair in my food when I went with my family and the food was cold. Jajangmyeon used to be around $12-14 but now it’s $17 for the same quality… food quality also went down for majority of the menu. I’ve been here more than 5 times before the new owners, went twice after the new owners - got traumatized and never coming back after. In one instance, I went with my friend and both of us ordered one dish each and milkis. Tell me why the milkis added $6 to our tab?????????? I can buy it myself from Gmart or other restaurant for $2-4 a milkis… there is something seriously wrong. A dish and a milkis almost cost us $30 and it doesn’t make sense since I ordered jajangmyeon and she ordered smt around the same price… was being lenient and not complain abt it but saw the prices increase even more for no reason so had to leave a review. DONT GO, THERE ARE OTHER BETTER KOREAN RESTAURANTS FOR CHEAPER PRICE AND MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE RECEIPTS AND ASK FOR THE PRICE OF THE DRINKS NOT LISTED ON THE MENU (unless you want an extra $6 tab...
Taste’s not Good..service was bad. I ordered several menus with my friends and one of dish was left over and it’s like new. So I asked them to go box But I forgot it when I came out from the there And when I turned back to take it after had ice cream with friends. But the guy said they throw it away because they had to clean up the table. I feel like he said that we had clean up the all trash including the plastic bag…it’s just trash..!That’s it. And he said it’s like 2hours ago.! Sorry, that it.
I used worked at the restaurant a lot, and I think it’s not nice. they saw it was new, and I put it in the box and then plastic bag too. Just an hour later turned back.
He never seems like feel sorry for me. I mean they can throw it way but he never seemed like to be sorry.
He just said we throw it away. Hey it’s like two hours ago. You know , we had to clean it up. Okay, sorry. So I feel like they sell trash? they think their menu is just trash..?
And honestly it’s not nice service and not taste good or not like Korean food. I will not never come again here. I regret that i...
