We searched everywhere for a sectional and chose La-Z-Boy for their reputation of Quality products. Words cannot express how disappointed I am in this sectional. After having it for only 6 months, we started noticing defects in the reclining peace and had to have it replaced twice. The seams&fabric on several cushions had already split to the point it was 6-8 inch holes in them, even the back pillows. We contacted LaZboy and they had the cushions replaced which was expected, but disappointing.
After a few months of the replacement the seams&fabric once again began to split and created holes in the cushions. On a side note itâs only me and my wife living in the household with no kids. We contacted LaZboy once again with the same prior issues of seam/fabric in the cushions splitting creating holes in the cushions and reclining peace not functioning properly. This was the second time the parts were replaced which again was, very disappointing.
A few months later once again (third time) the same issue arise with the seam/fabric in the cushion and back pillows splitting creating holes in the cushion. We contacted LaZboy and made them aware of the occurring issue and how unsatisfied we were with their promised Quality furniture. We were flat out told we had to pay for any additional replacements due to the one year warranty being expired. We couldnât believe what we were told and felt cheated on after giving our trust in their La-Z-Boy Brand which they promised to be one of the top quality furniture products out on the marked.
After our hard worked money invested on a LaZboy product we felt let down as a valued customer. This type of customer service coming from La-Z-Boy is not acceptable.
Iâm sharing my experience to make any potential future LaZboy customer aware of how their trend in recent low quality products and unhappy customers. Their product did not meet up to the quality promised at the time of purchase.
Given we had the same occurring issues since day one with the main issue being the seams/fabric splitting in the cushions and back pillows we would like to have the sectional replaced with a different sectional which has the Quality theyâre promising, and last more than just a year. But it seems theyâre unwilling to make up for their defects & low quality products and rather have unsatisfied customers like me and many others share our bad experience to eliminate other potential customers purchasing...
   Read moreMy husband and I went to La z Boy on 5/17/2021 to buy a sofa. I was in a wheelchair and as we approached the door a man came to help us and held the door open so we could easily enter. Turns out that man was a salesperson. He introduced himself and ask if he could be of help. We told him we were here to look at sofas. He told us where they were located and told us to feel free to browse and if we had any questions he would be there to answer them. His name is Robert and we feel he is the best salesperson we have ever had. Once we found the sofa we wanted the search for a fabric began. I am overwhelmed with too many choices sometimes, so choosing a fabric can be a long process for me. I also was not sure what color I wanted. Blue, brown, green. Decisions, decisions. Robert was very patient and helpful. I chose five or six fabrics of various colors and he laid them out for me to look at and slowly say yes or no until I arrived at my final choice. We went back to the sofa we picked and he laid the fabric of my choice on it so I could see what it would look like. Perfect. Then, the choice of pillow fabric. YIKES! By this time I was tiring and did not want to look at the wall of fabrics again, so I ask Robert to go choose some choices for me. He came back with four or five. I looked at them all and chose one that had the brown color of the sofa fabric, some tan and some blue. I had told him earlier that I had a lot of blue in my home. He remembered that and picked out that fabric because of my comment. I was impressed. That was the fabric I picked. It was perfect. He said it was the first one he picked out. My husband and I had a great experience at La z Boy in Mishawaka and will be coming back in a few months to look at recliners. We hope Robert is there...
   Read moreFirstly, I had several people tell me in the last several years NOT to go to La-z-Boy....their salesmen were too pushy and their prices were too high. So we did go to several other stores looking for a recliner before we decided to try La-z-Boy. We were met by Gina S. who asked if we were looking for a recliner...since we were in the recliner section! I explained that I was looking for something geared toward short people as my feet could never touch the ground on a regular recliner...she agreed as she was short also! She showed us several options...I then said we would continue to look around on our own...she said she would check on us in a bit...and left! Later the manager (Matthew) saw we we had a question and came over to help...! Gina did come back to check on us just to make sure we had no questions. We did find a recliner that we liked and both Gina and Matthew were very helpful in checking us out. When it was determined that there was an error in the price of the recliner that benifitted us, it was honored with no question. So in conclusion we foud our salesperson (Gina) very knowledgeable and helpful with just the right amount of attention given...the manager (Matthew) was extremely helpful as well.
