We decided to treat ourselves to a take out date and have never tried Oliva's before. Ive grown up in Mishawaka my whole life and never heard of it. Noticed the doors said 21+ and upon entering was greeted by the bartender and a wonderful classy bar dining feel...very clean, not loud, smelled great, and the bar patrons were friendly. We ordered the Beef Tenderloin appetizer - salty but OMG was it amazing and tender, of you like beef jerky, GET IT. He got a 12 inch pizza and loved it. I got the Vodka Red Pepper and opted chicken - and WOW...JUST WOW. hands down the best vodka sauce Ive ever had and the portion of chicken was not only HUGE but also so tender and juicy that I need to know their secret 😅 and the salad was decent and fresh. Hands down will be coming back to dine in, maybe grab dinner and pop over to Hop Station right...
Read moreThe service was not the best, but not the worst I've had. The food was not good. The apps were poor quality, store bought premade stuff and the entree was also. I believe this was the only thing actually made fresh and apparently the cook used sugar to counteract the acidity and earthyness in the tomatoes instead of baking soda and salt. The salad dressing was premixed and sitting at the table before we got there It had no flavor and strangely didn't need any mixing or shaking (oil and vinegar don't stay mixed and are SUPPOSED to be the base of any Italian dressing). The price of the food did not match the quality in...
Read moreWe live locally and am shocked it took us years to come into this place. Atmosphere isnt what we expected at first but it was very welcoming and warm! The FOOD! Come hungry because there are no little portions here. The Ribeye was at least 30 oz and charred to perfection. My husband and I had to split it. We had the bruchetta, the ribeye and the linguine alfredo with chicken/shrimp. Soups were french onion and tomato bisque. the salad was massive and the homemade dressing was delicious. I had a glass of wine and he had a cocktail and the bill was just over $100. Affordable in my opinion for the massive servings you get. Our server(s) were all amazing and knowledgeable about the menu. I can't say enough things about this place! A...
