Yo! Mochi Arcade and Cafe — Restaurant in Mission Viejo

I originally ordered food and drinks through Grubhub for pickup, but the app ended up charging me double the price. Even though I was overcharged by more than $7, Grubhub only refunded me $7 and tried to blame the cafe for the issue.

When I spoke to the owner directly, he was just as surprised as I was that Grubhub was showing inflated prices. He felt bad about the situation and kindly gave me another corn dog for free to make up for the trouble.

My advice: if you’re picking up your order, skip Grubhub and come here directly. The cafe is clean, the atmosphere is fun with the arcade vibe, and the owner is genuinely kind and customer-focused. Definitely worth supporting this...

I didn't take a picture of the Korean hotdogs/ corn dogs we ordered but they were absolutely the highlight of it all. I recommend the half and half. The dogs are covered in a very heavy batter and even sugar If you want something sweet and savory. I wish they had more sauce options. For the mochi donuts they arent as good as fils but they aren't bad. The mochi was soft and chewy. I do find the red velvet to be very lacking in red velvet flavor. The cookies and creme and churro were much better flavors and I just hope they have green tea and some other flavors next...

Unfortunately, the store's phone number doesn’t work, which makes it impossible to get updates on your order. I also emailed them a few days ago and never received a response. This can be especially stressful if you're counting on the delivery for a time-sensitive event, like a company gathering. I ended up getting backup donuts just in case, and it’s a good thing I did I'm still waiting for my mochi donut order to arrive.
