Came in today just on a whim. I've had Mediterranean but it's not my go-to so I thought to mix it up and this was in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by the food.

I started with a cup of Lentil soup. It was flavorful and subtle at the same time. I would definitely order a bowl next time.

Following up, I ordered a gyro with a side of basmati. The gyro overall was good, but the taste of their sauce was a little too subtle than what I've had in the past. I also can't be too sure, but the cut of the lamb didn't seem fresh off the wheel like I've had before. It was good, but I did ask for a small side of tzatziki and tahini for extra pop. Basmati was good as well but I ended up using some of the tahini on that as well for some added flavor.

I ended the meal with their assorted dessert plate to sample everything they had. The Ballourie (the thing that looks like a pair of Twix) was my favorite overall. Followed by the Burma Pistachio, which kind of tasted like sunflower seeds wrapped in shredded wheats, covered in honey; oddly delicious. The least, but still good, was the Baklava, which was a little too crunchy and not as tasty as the others. I'd order the assortment again, but I'd say one plate is good for one person, rather than to be shared.

Now I will comment that even though the crew was nice, they were also not always present. I believe they must have been running a skeleton crew because the front person was also running to the kitchen to cook. That being said, this is definitely one of those places that feels more like an "order at the counter and eat at the table" sort of spot, rather than a full service. All the same, kind staff and was attentive with water and bussing when in eyesight.

If I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop in again. Happy...

I can write a book on this review but I'm going to keep it short and simple to the point. Food was okay, the waitress working this past Tuesday needs major training. We drove 40mins to Kinzi. Won't be going back do to customer service of the waitress. A party of four!! Female waitress that was their hands us the menu and walks away without giving us her name or asking us if you would like to order anything to drink. Later on when we asked her what would be a good platter to order she's like oh Idk usually gets the veggie one because she's a vegetarian(nothing wrong with that) but how can you suggest items. The waitress that was there needs to be trained more. We were still eating while she came and handed us our bill so basically we left our food and trying to pay her and then when we ask her a question regarding the bill she says so :it's like my second day ever!(seriously your old enough to give good customer service) and then she calls one of the guy that was working there hands the bill to him walks away saying I'm so overwhelmed @8:36pm she goes to turn of the open sign light while prancing to the register loudly says we're closed. Honestly there less than a total of...

I used to frequent this location alot. Sadly it seems the food quality and service have SEVERELY declined. I came in today and was shocked at how poor the service was. When I ordered my food the waitress seamed fine. The moment my boyfriend ordered the server was dismissive. The appetizer of wraped grape leaves came out immediately. Our main courses took awhile longer. When our entree food was brought out the server was spilling the rice as she walked the plates towards our table. My lamb curry was watery and bland. My rice with the veggies in it was seasoned well so that was good. My partners gyro meat was very dry. Our waters sat there empty for more than half our meal. The server sat in a booth on her phone actually ignoring several tables. I made eye contact with her many times as she had a full view of the empty glasses. As we finished our food she finaly got up from being on her phone in the corner booth and came and refilled our water asking how the food was. I asked for the check and came to write this. I am disappointed by the decline in quality of service. This was one of my favorite...

I was craving a Gyro, and this place came up. I didn’t think much of it at first, but I was compelled to leave a review. First off: I was kind of in a hurry, but had time to sit down and enjoy something, and was in and out in about 15 minutes. While the staff might not have the greatest grasp of conversational English, I was VERY well taken care of, and left a very happy guy. I had a lamb Gyro, which was perfectly seasoned and superbly cooked, and the portion size was on point for the price. It was crispy enough to have a nice crunch, but juicy, tender and bursting with flavor. The hummus was a hit too, along with their fresh pita. I had to ask for more pita, and got it complimentary. It was the perfect balance of price and portion so much, I got to take half home for lunch tomorrow. I’m very happy to have found this place because it seems sort of hidden amongst the other shops along Johnson Drive, but next time I’m in the area, this will be my go-to.
