Happy to have a new ramen place!
We ordered to go as the place is pretty quaint. Not great for large groups unless you get there early and snag tables.,
What we ordered: Crab Rangoon - they used the thinner skin which I do like better Chicken Karaage - thinner breading on the chicken so it’s not just fried flour. Flavor was good! Bang Bang Shrimp - LOVED that they used actually jumbo shrimp. Delicious sauce too! Pork Chasu-Don - sauce was sweet but tasted great when you mixed everything together well. Make sure to mix it well or you’ll get too much flavor or none at all. Spicy Beef Ramen - LOVE this broth! A little spicy for those who like a little bit of heat. Flavor is pretty simple but tasty. Tonkotsu Shoyu - The broth is super rich and flavorful! I love it but my husband thought it was too salty for him! The chasu was a little dry for me but nothing like soaking it in the broth.
Overall, happy with the new ramen place! The flavors taste more like regular city ramen. The broth is flavorful and not oily...
Read moreWe came in as they opened for dinner around 4:40 pm, it was slow but more people were starting to head in. I ordered a soda and I wasn't given a glass, ice, or straw, just the can. I can see that being okay for a to-go place , but is this not a restaurant? Anyway, as for the food, I literally just wanted appetizers, which you'd think are very easy and consistent, but the Rangoons came slightly cold in the middle and the Gyoza was just warm. Shrimp Don was SLIGHTLY better, but mediocre still. Bubble tea was just okay. Seeing as it was slow, I expected my food to be at least cooked to temp, and even then I really don't mind waiting. Good thing is the employees are polite, but still oblivious. After just eating at Hokkaido in Helena 2 days prior, my expectations were much higher... even Great Falls puts this place to shame. Y'all have some...
Read moreI'm hoping that they listen to reviews here. This place has potential, but the food is not good right now. I tried ordering the tonkotsu shoyu but they were already out of pork, so unfortunately I had to get chicken. The chicken was so overcooked it was like trying to eat leather. I've never experienced a piece of chicken THAT overcooked before. It also wasn't seasoned. The broth is just okay. They didn't give us chopsticks or even forks. My partner ordered the shrimp rice dish and it was also not seasoned and the sauce tasted like it was just store-bought. Maybe if I could have had the pork it could have been better, but alas. Also, no milk alternatives for the boba or any of the teas so that was...
