Florence Coffee Company — Restaurant in Missoula

Today my significant other and I ordered two Lotus beverages. For those of you who are not familiar with these beverages; a Lotus drink is a plant based caffeinated syrup mixed with club soda and any of the many flavors offered. Sugar-free options available. I ordered one of the featured specials named “Purple Rain” which consisted of lavender and huckleberry flavors. My girlfriend had one named “Rainbow Sherbet”, flavors not remembered, but it has cream added. Both tasted great! We really like these drinks as a nice cool and carbonated “pick me up”. Amber, our barista gave us great service! She’s was very kind and gave my girlfriend a few dum-dum lollipops to help with her recent quitting of nicotine. She even went the extra mile and gave her some really kind words of encouragement.

The location is pretty whacky. It was hot out. We ordered two iced mochas, the only variable part of the order was that one was oat milk. They took forever making it. When we got it ,our "iced mocha" was a lukewarm coffee with ice. They brewed hot coffee and then put ice in it. It never did get cold. Again, it was really hot that day. We had a rental vehicle with California plates, so maybe that was why the service took forever, eh Montana ? I live in Washington State ... Anyways. We had a midsize SUV and the rim barely made it around the curb in that location. Don't bother with a big vehicle. The coffee itself tasted decent. Went to this one I believe if it’s the one off of orange street we said sugar free 3 times and try to make sure to say it more than once because my mother is a diabetic AND allergic to sugar well, it was not sugar free!! And now she is really sick! Thanks lady. Just so people know if someone says sugar free it might not just be a diet thing sometimes it’s life threatening!!! We usually never have a problem with Florence coffee always always always go to polson Florence and never have a problem.
