So wanted to love this space; thrift and coffee, what’s not to like?
Very Indigenous unfriendly space where unwelcoming staff serves fresh price boosting regardless of clear and present pricing. Clearly a wyte friendly space only, lots of watchful eyes and no greetings if you don’t fit the aesthetic. You can expect to be watched carefully here so be mindful or better yet, find a friendly coffee shop.
After non-greeting staff despite their helpfulness and friendliness towards others, we opted out of coffee and decided to peruse the thrift. We found a long sleeve shirt for my son, marked at $6. When we went to pay, the barista said no, despite the signage, it was $9. I politely suggested they update their signage for future customers, paid and left. Read moreThe decor & seating are so cozy and appealing. Atmosphere is amazing. Drink prices are reasonable. Thrift clothes and prices are great, my fiance got Hoka sneakers for $5 ($165 new)! My chai latte was one of the best I've ever had and my fiance said the coffee was good however... the rest of the drinks I've had leave much to be desired. The caramel syrup in my fiance's coffee was unappetizing, my matcha latte was grainy and bitter with a muddy color, and my raspberry Italian cream soda had zero flavor. I think the problem is that this business is just starting out and have some cheap ingredients, which I don't blame them for at all. I haven't tried the food yet but I've heard it's good. I have a lot of faith in this business, the owners and staff are total sweethearts, and I love to sit in their window seat and read. I believe in you Funk It and trust that the drinks will...
