A small, independent bookstore with an emphasis on local writers and authors' events. Featured books, often those signed by a visiting author, are on display up front and a varied but small choice of books extends to the back of the store.

Books here may be a bit cheaper than those found at big chain bookstores, but for the most part everything is regularly priced.

Being in the center of the Higgins downtown area makes it accessible, and allows for the local connection that is the real distinguishing factor from other small bookstores...

Definitely one of my favorite places in town! Since I became a regular here, I have found that other indie bookstores in other cities and cute towns have a lot to live up to. I always find good stuff from the small press table, and the staff picks are always top tier. It's great that they highlight works from queer writers and indigenous writers, and their Montana section has a lot of depth. Very covid safe practices as well. I'm always looking forward to...

This store is NOT a book store nor a learning environment. It is a biased propaganda store peddling politics and ideologies. I walked in while the owner was yelling at someone for disagreeing with her. She has no classical literature nor philosophy. There are political posters and banners ALL over the store. I’m atheist and libertarian. She is pushing an agenda and is angry against anyone who disagrees. Knowledge goes beyond absolutism and...
