Liquid Planet at Farmers State Bank — Restaurant in Missoula

As someone who currently works as a barista, I don’t visit many coffee shops, but today I decided to stop by since my sister raves about another location she visits daily before work. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite match her enthusiasm.

When we pulled up to order, the employee at the speaker was very short and came across as rude. I completely understand how challenging working the drive-thru can be, but the way a barista interacts with customers sets the tone for the experience. A little kindness goes a long way.

At the window, I waited a few minutes for my order, which wasn’t an issue—I know how that goes. However, when the employee cashed me out, she immediately asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I absolutely did want to tip, and I even had cash in hand, but I found it uncomfortable to be asked directly. Tipping should be based on the service provided, and most customers will tip when they feel it’s deserved. I’d also like to add while I waited at the window a young blond gal sat and played on her phone, makes me wonder as to why I was waiting if someone had the time to play in their phone right in the view of the window.

To top it off, my sister’s usual blended drink was full of ice chunks and not properly blended, leaving liquid at the bottom—definitely not up to the standard she’s used to.

Overall, I was disappointed with this visit. I was hoping for a better experience based on my sister’s recommendations, but this location fell short. Hopefully, it was...

Today, Dec 14th, 2023; around 12:15, I live five minutes from this location;

I received a lotus that I really needed.

Whomever the gal that took my order for the scooby snack frappe; and then I ordered the lotus to give them a tip; I realized I didnt have my card on me for some reason so she bought it for me for free.

She doesnt know how much that meant to me, Finals are tough, and always fall on my birthday, we just lost a family member and I was crying about it before I got in there; We wont have him for christmas or my birthday and I really rwally needed kindness more than you know.

There is a new song that came out called, “Christmas Feels Different This Year” by Sarah Reeves and everytime I hear it I bawl, and it hd come on shortly before I got to her window

She deserves limitless tips and one day I will repay her kindness

I do this so often when I can afford it and her angelic grace paid it back to me when I needed it, at the right time, Thats god; telling me he is at peace up there with him.

Hi there! I come to this location quite often, and am usually very pleased with the service I receive. Today I stopped in, excited to use my free drink from my punch card, and ordered what I always ordered. But today I also asked for a 12oz cup of hot water as my throat is sore. When I got to the window, not only did they try to use the punch card for the cup of water (which after I explained I would skip the water if that was the case. She said she could let it by just this once.) I was charged $2 for a 12 oz cup of water. Which is ridiculous. I’ve worked other locations in town who charge for the cup which is understandable.
