Sum up: Good food. Employees need better training (CROSS CONTAMINATION). Glass wall construction poorly thought out.

I would go here again and am more lax because it is new but the employees need to be trained better, if that doesn't change I wouldn't go again.

Pros: Let me start with the food ordering is simple and to the point there aren't many side options (which is good). All sides are "free" accept avocado which is .50 cents. The spicy ahi was good.

Super Cons:

I asked for roe but the guy put seaweed pieces on my poke bowl which was already made so it had raw fish on it, sauce, everything. A minute latter he realized. Instead of asking me if it was okay to leave on or offering to restart...he started pick the seaweed pieces off which were on top of ahi/sauce and he started putting it back in the communal seaweed container on the assembly line. I then was trying to be nice and casually said no, it is okay I'll eat it...No okay it is fine etc. He kept picking it off and putting it back though until I raised my voice and told him to stop which really freaked me out. What if someone has allergies to what was in my bowl????

One of the other employees had a cold too which I thought was gross. I know this isn't the employees fault though as I know people in food/retail get pressured to work even when they are ill. There was an older woman managing the store though and she really should have told him to go home.

Cons: The service is super slow.

The glass wall that separates you from the servers is oddly high or built weird, it is really hard for people on either side to hear each other. Both the server and I had to ask the other to repeat...

I hate to leave any complaints at all... but I have too. I’ve gone to poke 3 times, the first time it was the sloppiest thing I think I’ve ever seen, I think visually, it would make more sense to be able to walk through like a subway, or five on black, and pick your ingredients step by step so you see how it all looks together and also then hopefully the employee won’t just slap it into the container and have it look unappetizing. The 2nd time my bowl was pretty good, but the employee seemed rushed even though it was just me in there. 3rd time my order was messed up and sloppy, it was missing cucumbers and I ordered jumbo shrimp...but got mini shrimp... which isn’t a big deal, but just tell your customer, and again it was sloppy and did not look appetizing. I want to like this place so badly... but so far it’s just missing the bar. I think visual aids inside would be helpful if you are unable to do the walk through order. You do get a ton of food for your money and generally it’s a nice quiet environment. I think there is a lot of potential but there are factors that are missing currently. Sorry for the 2 star rating but hoped this constructive...

this has been one of our favorites for a while now and have had great experiences until valentines night! the attitude of the worker left us in complete shock! really hoping all the people weve recommended this place to dont have an experience like ours!!!!

as soon as we walked in for our valentines date night the worker was obviously stressed out for unknown reasons(there were only 2 people in front of us). every comment that he said was just rude! why ruin 2 couples valentines night because of some issue you have going on. PROFESSIONALISM PEASE?! after he ordered us and the other couple to fill out an order form we gave them to him and then he decides to tell us theres no white rice. ok, not a huge deal but after we got home to eat our food, so many things were wrong with our orders! we had been looking forward to our valentines dinner here and were so...

So fresh! Delicious food. The fish and the greens were very fresh and tasty. Yummy sauces, especially the spicy aioli. Filing out a paper per order seems to be a bit wasteful, maybe an automated system would be better. Or even dry erase. Delicious tho. Definitely recommend.

First time visit and wasn't disappointed! The size of the bowl was enough to share. I love that they are generous with the blocks of ahi tuna! 10/10 would recommend!
