Pepperoni's Pizza - Riverstone — Restaurant in Missouri City

Pepperoni’s is usually my favorite pizza place to go to, but my family has been telling me that lately they haven’t been the best, I was in denial until I actually ordered from them this past Monday. I ordered pizza for delivery and when it arrived I quickly realized it was missing sauce. I called the store and told the lady on the phone what happened. First thing she says is “Are you sure there’s no sauce on the pizza, because I made it myself”. I’m guessing she was a manager or something and thought she was exempted from making mistakes. Lol I reassured her that I pulled the cheese back on more than one slice and there was no sign of sauce. She said she would remake it if I wanted to come pick it up….I really didn’t want to come pick it ip since I paid for delivery but I just wanted to get everything over with at this point. I pick up the pizza. And Bring the new one home. And after taking a couple bites, I realized they clearly gave me extra sauce….the pizza was practically falling apart and dripping as I ate it. So I guess she thought I really was just this customer who was being picky about the sauce being too little. The fact that I had to pick up my pizza, and the fact that I still ended up not getting the proper amount of sauce is frustrating. And I got nothing to make up for my time that got taken up. I ordered a large half pepperoni and beef and the other half Canadian bacon and pineapple the pizza was tasty but it was extremely salty. When advising the staff member he quickly jump into defense mode stating they don't use salt. He must have realized he was not speaking in the correct tone and switch back to being nice like he answer the phone. He said again ma'am we do not use salt but will try to do better next time. I did not say that they use salt. I simply said that the pizza was salty and it tastes like someone sprinkle salt on it. That's how salty it was. I visited the Pepperonis on Hwy6 in Missouri City(near FM1092) on December 4th. I ordered a large all meat pizza, and was told it would be available in 15 minutes, of course I planned for 15-25 minutes. After 35 minutes I inquired what was taking so long, only to find out the clerk stated it was made incorrectly and they had to start over. In fairness they offered a full refund, but it was the time that it took for someone to respond about the delay, and the reason for it they really ticked me off. The counter kid was young, so I understood the learning curve, but nearly an hour later was a little ridiculous. I love Pepperoni pizza, and it pains me to give a bad review, but hopefully this will give management incentive to improve...
