I may be biased with my review, since I worked for this company for 5 years of my young adult life, but I feel that gives me a more unique perspective; and even when things don't go right, doesn't mean you can't still have a good experience. A few days ago, I called in a Carry-Out order. I could tell the server was writing down my order, repeating as we went. She placed me on hold to enter in the ticket, gave me my total, and I paid over the phone. At pick-up, I could see them putting everything together. I was given my order and asked if everything was there, and she confirmed. I handed her a cash tip and was on my way. I was a couple blocks away when I realized there weren't enough to-go boxes. My teenager checked each one as I turned around to go back. Unfortunately, a kid's meal was missing. When I returned to the restaurant, I was met by the manager. I explained what I was missing, and he went to investigate. He returned and asked what else had been in my order. I named a few meals, and he named a few more. He let me know this kid's meal wasn't sent to the kitchen, but he had asked them to start making it and wouldn't be charging me for it. In the end, I had everything I needed to enjoy supper with my family. I tip on the percentage of my total order, and without that kid's meal on the ticket, the server hadn't received that meal's percentage. Read moreI am not one to do reviews however I have been to this restaurant about 6 times in the past couple months and thankfully I always get Christina. However many days getting her comes with a lot of apologies…. Not because of her mistakes, because honestly she doesn’t make too many of those ( and when she does she’s honest about it) …. The apologies her tables get are because she is often so busy helping all the other servers run their food and such that she doesn’t believe she gives her tables the attention they deserve. I have NEVER been dissatisfied with her service to be frank she is hands down the best server I have ever had and let’s just say I’ve been trucking a very long time. Today made me do this review. I watched as orders came to the window and christina would deliver them with a smile on her face to whomevers table it was.today I heard her apologize to her tables plenty of times and a couple times I seen her tables food ( including mine) in that window and tye other servers just walked on by. Now she got our food to us with a smile and of course and apology but I just felt bad for her today. She truly is a great example of a team player and yet seems her team doesn’t help her. Read moreAfter seating us, the waitress took our order right away and got our drinks fairly fast. We ordered our food and she asked me what dressing I would like, it kind of confused me since there was a salad bar here. I wanted to ask if I was supposed to get salad or if they bring you a side salad with your food but she didn't show up until the food was ready, even though my husband's coffee was low. Then after giving us our food, she never showed up again. We then waited over 30 minutes after we were done eating for a check, we then finally got someone's attention (I bet we would still be sitting there if we hadn't gotten anyone's attention)... that's when they told us that our waitress was on break. Normally when a waitress is about to go on break, they drop off the check and let you know and someone else picks up her table. You don't leave the people to sit there. That is a fault on who is in charge and the waitress. On top of that, knowing this we just got a quick "sorry" as the manager just sat down the check down quickly and walked away. No refills and only saw our waitress 2 times. (Other than when she seated us). Only two stars because the food was actually good.
