I live in Moab so I know the trouble of most places here, not enough employees to go around who are willing to make jokingly low wages & try affording some cheap dump of a place for very high rent. That is the biggest problem for most businesses here so the worse the establishment, the harder it is to find people to work there so part of this is knowing that there are crappy employees, the other part is 2-fold. Really bad jobs have a way of wearing on you & it makes you a bad employee as you are always understaffed, underpaid, overworked, & always taking complaints all day everyday. The 2nd part to that is the worst places in town have almost no choice but to not fire the worst employees as nobody else better comes along. That's not even why the rating, its the poor business ethics. They pulled the all you can eat bar citing losing too much money as it wasn't getting enough traffic to justify the loss of food waste, then pulled the pizza & sides deals & have not had any actual "deal" to speak of since. It, like many Moab joints is tourist driven, knowing they make their bulk on people who will never be there again, so they only offer up extremely expensive pizza when locals or anyone staying in a place with an oven can pay under $4 for a frozen pizza if they go buy it, or pay $25 for a medium 1-top & have to go pick that up or pay extra to tip the poor drivers who get paid like crap there & put all these miles on their cars. I don't give reviews often & when I do I think about the consequences. There are plenty more to go off of, but my end goal is this place goes & perhaps a place that deserves the high price of main street takes its place. I know it is hard, but the very few (literally 3) places I ever eat at after trying almost every place numerous times, I know it can be done right. I wont mention names of people or places as this is a review...

Read moreOrdered pizza for delivery online at 7:00pm. By 8:20 I had not received my pizza so I called in to see what was going on. They said that their oven was having some problems but that it was working now. They told me that they had shut the restaurant down for walk-in and call-in customers and were only working on online orders and that they should have my pizza to me soon but that they were a little behind. I said that was fine and it wasn't a problem and then we ended the call.
A few minutes later the same person called me back to double check my order and address and said that he'd make sure I got food. That was around 8:30pm, it is now 11:23 as I write this and still no pizza. They close at 11 so I can't imagine it will be showing up at all. I tried to call back in several times just to check and make sure they had all the information they needed but nobody answers the phone.
I wouldn't have cared about the 3 hour wait if I had actually received my food. The fact that it never showed up and nobody ever called me to notify me of any of the delays or the fact that they wouldn't even be sending me my pizza are a bit frustrating. If I, by some miracle, receive my pizza my review would be a 3 star but at this point I can't imagine...
