Moab Backyard Theater — Attraction in Moab

We happened upon this on a Wednesday night after driving up from Santa Fe. Quicksand Soup have become my absolute favourite live experience to date. I'm five thousand miles from home and I walk into a red dirt back yard with mismatched chairs, branches and haybales, and watch a wonderfully accomplished group give me the most brilliant bluegrass music, for FREE. You can even bring your own drinks and food, but if you don't the taco truck is amazing and serves mexican coke. Honestly this place made me emotional. These musicians are rare and to be treasured. Both my kids 8 and 10 thought it was amazing and wanted to go again, and my husband and the whole audience were laughing and amazed as well. This show is fun, not just the magic but the laughs.
