This has to be one of the most well-presented Best Western's I've stayed at. The property is spotless all around, and the rooms are fantastic ... spacious, clean and quiet.||||Obviously being such a tourist-orientated town, Moab accommodation is not cheap at the best of times so we paid over $700 for a Friday-Sunday, 2 night stay in April. I've definitely paid this kind of pricing in other places before (looking at you Zion) for less than adequate comfort, so the Best Western, although pricey, does provide a great value for your money.||||The rooms are huge ... probably at least 1.5-2 times the size of your regular hotel room, however the bathroom is a little small. The lounge area with sofa bed provides ample room to store and spread out your hiking and outdoors gear.||||The room is very quiet, and we didn't hear our side neighbors at all, however like most hotels these days, Bigfoot staying in the directly above you and waking up at 5am to stomp around can be the deciding factor as to whether you hear your neighbors above, if you are staying on the ground floor like we were. One note, the windows are obviously double pane glass as I remote started my truck which was parked directly outside, and barely heard it start.||||The breakfast and breakfast area is commendable, and was certainly one of the better we've experienced at a hotel like this that provides it as part of your stay. The staff at the breakfast area were a standout, always trying to help and be of service anyway they could. The dining areas themselves were also impressive, particularly again for a Best Western, with an indoor area as well as 2 separate outdoor dining areas overlooking the main street in Moab.||||Overall, this hotel is certainly above average in not only the the way they keep up the property, but also its walk-ability being in the center of town. The one gripe I would have is the guests taking up parking spots for their toy trailers in an already small parking lot. ||||Oh also for the Tesla drivers, there is a supercharger literally in the hotel parking lot. Can't get much for...
Read moreOur family of five stayed here for two nights in July. We were hoping there would be less tourists as it was so beastly hot and we were right! The hotel rate was lower than during the cooler months and we did not have to wait at any of the restaurants we visited. The hotels free breakfast consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, a fun pancake maker, muffins, fresh fruits, breads/ bagels, and a variety of juices, teas and coffee. Unlike some other places, this Best Western had two staff members that were available to answer any questions about the food. Usually it's 100% self-serve and you're on your own, not this place! There's indoor seating as well as a lovely outdoor patio that will accommodate large family groups. The hotel staff was wonderful and very friendly. There was some confusion about my service dog but once I showed them my documentation, all was well. The outside swimming pool has a waterfall hot tub area, and was decent sized. We were able to visit with other families and let our kids all play together. It was a very comfortable feeling to know there were multiple adults watching all of the kids. One of the things we loved the most about it, besides, the exemplary staff, was that you could walk to almost anywhere in Moab. We checked out a couple of restaurants and there was an eclectic mix of food trucks, a block or so away. Our room was very clean, the beds extremely comfortable, and the bathroom area was nice because there was a sink separate from the one with the shower and toilet. This allowed our family of five to brush their teeth while someone else was showering. This may not seem like a big deal, but to us it was a perk! We are already planning our return to Moab and will most definitely stay at the Best Western Plus...
Read moreVery comfortable beds, all clean, no bugs, AC worked great, nice view from window, and the breakfast had the BEST variety, quality, and customer service of ANY hotel my family has been to for the last two to three weeks! (And most are Best Western Plus's!)
Gluten free, sugar free, and dairy free options. (Gluten free, sugar free cheerios. Almond milk (which was really good! Likely sweetened tho. And for the pancakes, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and sugar free syrup available!)
Sausages looked and tasted like they were only cooked minutes ago! And they had. One of the hotels we had gone to earlier (NOT THIS ONE), owned by Best Western, had sausages that had clearly been cooked at least 2 to 3 times.
Back to talking about THIS hotel, that the review is for: One of the employees, Diego, asked as soon as I came in whether there was anything he could do for me. He seemed to not just see it as a job he had to come to, but actually seemed personally invested in the place's success. I told him so, and he said, "It's vacation. It needs to be perfect!"
The porch outside to eat at was the best! We didn't want to leave. Beautiful open view, great weather, especially before 9 AM, in July. Cushions were big and so soft I wrote their brand down to use when I get my dream house. Perfect furniture spacing. And there were some adorable birds, including some GIANT ravens. We cut coin-sized pieces of sausage and threw it just past the railing, and they'd eat it or stuff it in the flower box. It was a blast!
They have a fake owl on one side of the patio to scare birds away, and the birds didn't come to that side, so if you don't like feeding giant ravens, you can eat on that...
