New visit, waited in drive through 20+ min. but only 2 cars ahead of me. Sign on window, "no refunds." Closed on Mondays during May. Then, unfortunately, food left weird funny feeling in one place in throat. A year ago...Great atmosphere. Authentic museum quality rickshaw inside. counter service Thai food. Chef is real thing, little English, unable to adapt to vegan. Zero entrees for vegetarians/vegans bc not flexible about oyster sauce/fish sauce bases. They don't understand the distinction. No tofu here. Could eat summer rolls/sushi. When asked for vegan Pad Woonsen (w/rice noodles), was told they CAN NOT leave egg out of anything but Lo Mein (w/egg noodles). Very accommodating w/refund once discovered they misunderstood/made it wrong, and apologetic. 3 t.v.s too many for small place. Video on one was animal eating animal. Beautiful walls and better than average seating.

I’m sitting in my seat as I write this. I ordered pad kee moa with chicken add extra chicken. I kid you not, I separated the pasta from the chicken and this is their so called chicken with extra chicken. I called them to the table and asked for the extra chicken that I ordered and was told that was the “extra chicken” amount. The taste is good but what a rip off. The lady rather stand and argue with me than correct my order. Also I suppose it would be fair to say after she finished arguing, she took off $2 but I just wanted to pay for what I ordered and get what I ordered.

I don't know why I always pass by this restaurant. I recently ate here with a few friends that say they love it. Everything was delicious, clean and the service was great. The lunch specials all seem to be good deals. I ordered the pad Thai and it came with a cup of delicious Tom Ka soup and two piping hot crispy spring rolls. My pad Thai was super flavorful and tasted perfect. Our food came out very quickly also so it worked out really nicely for lunch break. I'll definitely be a regular from now on.... Come to think of it I'm kind of craving some Pad Thai right now.

⚠️ Beware of Overcharging and Unprofessional Behavior – Check Your Receipt!

Let me begin by saying that the lady who served us was kind and friendly, which initially gave us a good impression. The food tasted okay, not remarkable, but fine for a casual meal. However, I was disappointed to see everything served on thin, disposable paper plates, a downgrade compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve visited.

Now, here’s where things took a serious turn.

We noticed that the prices on our receipt didn’t match what was listed on the menu. For example, the red curry combo was advertised at around $15, but the receipt showed $16.59 plus tax. I politely asked why there was a difference. The server replied that the menu prices reflected the cash price, and what we were charged was the card price. Even then, the numbers didn’t add up. The “cash total” was only about $2 less than the card total, yet overall, we were charged more or less $8 more than what the menu prices should have totaled before taxes.

That felt deceptive. I wasn’t rude, just asked for clarification. But instead of fixing the discrepancy or apologizing, a man who claimed to be her friend (not the owner) started interfering. This individual became defensive, aggressive, and confrontational. Shockingly, after we left the restaurant, he attempted to follow our car for a short distance (until I pulled over somewhere), which was both disturbing and completely unacceptable.

Key Takeaways for Other Customers: • Double-check your receipt before paying. • Confirm whether prices listed are for cash or card payments. • Watch out for unexpected upcharges. • Be cautious of aggressive behavior if you raise concerns.

This experience went far beyond a simple billing error, it involved a lack of transparency, poor conflict resolution, and alarming conduct. I genuinely hope management addresses this behavior, but until then, I cannot...

For such high prices I expect better service. I spent $26 for two people to eat. The food was good however being the only two people eating inside at the restaurant right at opening I would at least expect the cashier who is doing nothing to bring me my drink instead of rudely interrupting my conversation with my wife to come get it. When I said something about price not matching service I was told that this is a fast food place. Unfortunately the service does not match the price or the look of the place as the general look of the comfortable seating screams sit down restaurant. I did not feel very welcomed by the person at the counter, more like I was a inconvenience for expecting more from her and the restaurant at the price point. Also, though I didn't try it, they did not have any sushi available at opening as they had not made it yet. Additionally, thought it is supposed to be fast food per the person at the counter that wouldn't bring me my drink, it has the wait times of a sit down restaurant (We got there at 11 a.m and got our food at 11:30 a.m). Be...

This would have been mediocre/okay, worth probably 3.5 stars, except for one major thing. The chicken pad thai was weird and disappointing, just sauce and noodles and thin strips of chicken. Pad thai is normally loaded up with vegetables so we're saving and doctoring-up the leftovers. The thai tea is good but everything else we ordered was just alright. Not the best thai food I've ever had but not the worst, until we ate the avocado roll. Now, I'm glad that the employees wash their hands. But I know that they wash their hand because three or so pieces of our roll tasted like soap. Somebody didn't rinse long enough. I would have gone here again even though the overall food experience was just so-so (I love thai tea and, again, theirs was good) but I can't go to a place again after being given soapy food. Not writing this place off completely for other people. Hopefully anybody else who goes there will have a better experience than we did. I just don't think I can ever go there...
