1 out of 5, here's why. I had surgery for an ulcer a while back, and since then I just can't eat very much 'dry' bread. By that I mean, if it's a sandwich...there has to be some type of condiment...mayo, ketchup, something. It just feels like it sticks in my throat. The same is true for pizza crust...I can eat it just fine, as long as there's plenty of sauce on it. I love Domino's garlic parmesan sauce, in fact the pizza I order from there, is probably my favorite food. I order 2 medium, 2 topping, thin crust cheese pizzas, with double garlic parmesan sauce. You may not know this, but the garlic parmesan sauce, as well as the BBq sauce, are considered 'premium sauces', by Domino's. Even though most of the employees don't know this, and you won't get this info from the app, or any menu that I've seen. That being said, if you order a standard (create your own) 2 topping pizza, by default or should come with regular sauce, regular cheese, and the crust. However, this is not the case when you order one of the 'premium' sauces, you are charged for that sauce as 1 of your toppings, i.e., a medium 2 topping pizza, normal cheese, with extra garlic parm. sauce translates into your pizza by default being, a crust with cheese only, no sauce...and your two toppings are, 1) first layer of sauce, and 2) extra sauce. If you were to order extra cheese, or any other topping, you are charged for additional toppings accordingly. What I've personally experienced at several of our Domino's is, they squirt an unmeasured amount of sauce onto the crust, and use a ladle to swirl it around, most often leaving stripes of heavy sauce in a spiraling line around the pizza, leaving an even wider swirl around the pizza where the spoon swept through, subsequently leaving the crust devoid of sauce. This causes the cheese to burn, and the crust to bubble up to the top...resulting in a dry pizza. As it cools it will literally start to roll up on itself, and at least me, it is inedible. How we attempted to solve this problem is, we call ahead...or go in prior to placing the order, and give an explanation, and specific instructions to spread the sauce evenly, and to the edge...and to be sure add the extra sauce, (which we should not have to do). They have a weight chart, and are supposed to weigh the chart at each stage to ensure the portion sizes are accurate however, I think it is rarely used. If it's made correctly, most of the time I tip $20, on occasion $10, even though my pizzas are about $13. We have stopped paying with the card, and only pay cash when we pick it up, so I can verify that it is correct, if not, I get them to remake it until it is. I made the mistake of sending my sons to pick it up last time, along with a $20 bill to tip the guy, and they brought it all the way back where we live on snow road, and it didnt have regular sauce, let alone double. This was after my wife spoke to the guy making the pizza, Brett...who is supposed to be a manager. She called and got it refunded, his response was..."We are focused on getting pizzas made, and out of here...not reading a computer screen." This was his accuse for not knowing it was supposed to be extra sauce. There is one guy that works there, named Orion, that makes it correctly everytime, so we have resorted to not having pizza unless he is working. Unfortunately that is the best Domino's in our area, including Saraland...I have tried them all. So we drive 35 mins to get it, only when Orion is working. I posted a few pictures of my app. order history, it will only display the last 5 orders...and you can see there was a big gap in orders, Orion was on vacation. I finally took a chance this last time, I've already explained how that worked out. My order history, if it would display it, looks like this for about the last 1 and a half years. Sorry so long, but I dont feel right about bashing people, without adequate...
Read moreThe past few times I've came my orders have been messed up. They don't deliver to my area so I have to drive 15 minutes to this location. On three separate occasions I've gotten home to realize that my hot sauce was not on my pizza like I paid extra for. This last time I called and spoke with Mike and he apologized and credited me $12. That was 1.5 week ago. Today I ordered a Philly cheese steak pizza, a Honolulu Hawaiian pizza customized to be the first Hawaiian.. and two three topping lg pizzas. All pizzas looked normal except my Philly. It had mostly cheese and peppers. Very very little mushrooms and beef. I uturned to request meat and mushrooms as I wouldn't be happy driving all the way home to eat a cheese pizza. I even offered to pay for the extra toppings because I didn't want the hassle. The lady at the window took it to Megan the manager on duty who frustratingly shook her head and sent her back to the window to tell me that it was the correct amount. I still wanted more as I told her and reiterated I'd pay for the extra.. as clearly there's barely ANY meat or mushrooms.. it's a cheese pizza with peppers. So Megan began to slap at the computer angrily typing in whatever and stomped off . The lady working the window embarrassedly took my card, before she swiped I asked her the total. To which she replied $14 and some change. I said I didn't want a whole new pizza.. I didn't want an additional.. I just wanted some more meat and mushrooms. Besides. Why keep MY pizza I just gave you and charge me for a new pizza and then I only get one back?! What sense does that make??! So she said well ma'am she's making you a new pizza.. again I said I don't want a NEW pizza I just want additional toppings.. they didn't provide hardly any and I was willing to pay for their mistake. She turned back to the manager Megan who frustratedly came to the window and with an attitude said I'm making you a new one! I said I didn't want a new one.. she said I can't put additional toppings on an existing pizza!! Mind you.. I JUST got it through the window.. didn't leave the parking lot.. and I had been waiting on the pizza. It wasn't like it was sitting. I said I refuse to pay for a whole new pizza when the issue is the amount of meat. And.. I paid $10.99 for the pizza. Not $14 and some change!! She again mumbled under her breath and began slappy the computer and yelled fine fine it's on us! And walked away. Refused to give her last name when I inquired. I'm absolutely displeased with this location. I've been a loyal customer since I've been 18 on my own. I travel 30mins round trip.. over the one that is a few minutes closer on govt. However it seems like from now on I'll just be going to govt. I work as a waitress and it's extremely unfortunate to see someone so hateful be a "leader". I can only imagine how her staff feels working under her. I would not whatsoever call her manager worthy. That is NOT how you treat customers. It blows my mind the way I was treated as it was completely unprovoked. I nicely requested the issue be fixed and even at my expense. What is there to be angry about. How is that a problem?! Then to take back my pizza I paid for and charge me for an additional pizza! What?! Terrible Terrible terrible. Go to 1616 government Blvd.. off Monterey. Maybe they will...
Read moreIs zero stars an option? If it was, it would still be too high of a rating for the service and the shear lack of comprehension of an order. If you’re going to offer a “create your own pasta “ as a menu item, then why wouldn’t you write down what the person is asking for? After working 16 hours, in Mobile Al, my wife orders a pasta from this location. She has severe food allergies and has to be very careful of what she eats. She ordered the create your pasta and me a pizza. I stop on my way to Dauphin Island to pick it up. I’m waiting for at least 10 minutes while they’re trying to get my order finished, mind you my wife ordered over 30 minutes before hand, and was told 15-20 minutes for it to be ready. They hand me my order, and I bring it home. So everything my wife ordered in her pasta, is not on the pasta, at all. But wait it gets better. They didn’t just get too busy and forget what she ordered, or an accidental over sight on someone. That I could understand, but they put everything she ordered to go in her pasta on a large pizza. So they obviously wrote it down, got all the information correct from my wife, but decided to put it on a pizza and give her a bowl full of plain noodles! I can’t even begin to understand the thought process that lead to this debacle! But it’s not over! Just when I think I’ve seen the depth of their inaptitude, when my wife calls to try to get our order corrected, and see what we can do to resolve this, when they finally answer the phone, she asked to talk to a manager and the employee tells her the manager is busy at the moment, but we can plainly here the manager in the back ground say “Let me guess, they’re complaining of a cold pizza? “ (giggling).... I tell my wife to hang up. If that’s the type of leadership this place has, it’s obvious they couldn’t get our order right if I stood there and drew it with crayons. Do yourself a favor. If you want pizza or pasta, go to literally ANYWHERE but here! And in case the manager’s supervisor gets to read this, this all happened between 5:45 and 7 pm. On 12-8-20, so it shouldn’t be hard to look at the schedule and find out who...
