I was picking up a DoorDash order from here and I waited at the side until I could get somebody’s attention and I when I did I exploded them that I had an order for John Doe (using a different name for the customer privacy). Who I’m assuming the manager as she was wearing a blue blouse and not a normal T-shirt with the Wendy logo like all the other workers, gestured to a different worker who was taking a customers order and walked away without saying anything. That other worker came to me and I gave them the name, I said I had an order for John Doe, JD because for some reason Wendy’s needs the initials as well as the name. The worker in the black Wendy shirt gave me a cup, which I filled up with the drink, went back to the counter and tried to take this bag of food. The manager pulled it away from me and said
“I have two orders for JD which one do you have?” I explained I have the order for John Doe. The manager now irate held up the receipts a few inches in front of my face and said very loudly. “I have two orders for John Doe, what do they have??” I admit I did get a bit of an attitude and said “Well I didn’t know that” and then proceeded to list the items on the order to which the manager pushed the bag of food towards me the sigh. I reached for the drink which she had taken from me, she pulled it away and said “No, no, no this is for the other JD order.” The other worker with a black shirt came over and gave me a different cup. I got to drink and I left.
I get it was busy, but this is no way for anyone especially who I’m assuming is a manager to act. I’ve never been treated this way by a worker ever before especially in this Wendy’s. I was treated like a child and I am extremely offended and pissed off. I will never go back to the Wendy’s and if anyone would like to be treated with a little decency, I highly suggest you never go...
Read moreJalapeño salad...no peppers were even in it. Lettus spoiled. TONS of very burnt bacon in it with a lot of grease. Not sure whoever made it has ever eaten a salad. Not likely. Fries were not hot immediately when we got them. They were out of kids and medium cup kids so my 5 year old has what looked like an extra large cup im my back seat. HuGE cup. Lol. Cute but not funny. Burgers were cold too actually. Worse than the fries. Drive through was rushed so that I didn't even get to finish my order . Line was insane and I cannot imagine why. Must be all travelers. Second star because new employee seemed like a nice person at least. And I didn't get food poisoning from the other half of my kids burger at least. Oh and indoor seating was close...
Read moreThe food is standard for Wendy's, that's pretty much the only positive I can say. From the moment I walked in employees were arguing in the kitchen. The manager loudly and blatantly told one worker to ignore everyone in line until they got caught up, that's how behind they were. I understand they're understaffed, but Christ. One employee even walked out briefly and apparently more than one kept disappearing according to the manger. It almost feels like they brought the team from Cottage Hill Road's location.
I ended up having to order on the app to get my food at a decent time. That did mean I couldn't use my Frosty key tag which was a real downer. Until their act is cleaned up and under new management and employees, I would avoid...
