Yummy Boba Tea Ice Cream Bakery — Restaurant in Mobile

This is my first time and my last time to visit this place on 01JUN2025. By the looks exterior decoration looks great. Interior was great atmosphere, but i feel like this place needs better improvement with that food and drinks quality. Here are some reasons why i feel this way. I walked in today with my family. The host at the register did not greet us. She was on her phone chatting and laughing. It took her a minute to acknowledge us with no professional customer service welcoming. We ordered Thai tea slushy which was not that good. Thai tea color otherwise is suppose to be orange, this Thai tea turn out like white chocolate milk and even taste like chocolate. Other drink I ordered was mango tea and all I can taste was mango puree too sweet. The cakes I order, didnt seem moisture at all. The texture of the cake was old. Compare other cakes I have been eating at other places. The total amount I have spent for 3 items came out total $32. I feel like food and drink quality here is poor, needs improvement. Need Health Department for further investigation if this go beyond. Staff just need work on their customer skills. Professionalism goes a long way. People expect to come and enjoy this place and the atmosphere. But I tell you, with lack of customer service skills, will drag this business down or any other business out there to closure. Great atmosphere, but bad services, and poor food and drink quality will cause bad reputation in the long run to ruin your own business. Being in food industry is not an easy task, having good customer service skills and selling good quality of food and drinks makes customers happy and return to support your business continuously. The lady originally at the front was talking either on the phone or to the lady in the back. She saw us walk up to the counter however continued her conversation. My mom had to ask can we place an order and then the lady was overly apologetic. We placed an order for a coffee milkshake with extra whipped cream in which the lady stated they were out of whipped cream. I told her no worries it’s fine. Upon getting my drink they in fact did have whipped cream however I was not given a top. When I asked for a top the lady stated they didn’t have a top for the drink. I repeated what she said just to clarify what I heard was correct. As I’m cleaning the chocolate drizzle up that’s spilling (due to me not having a top) she offers me another cup that has a top on it. SAVE YOUR MONEY !!! This place is overpriced & the bakery is extremely sweet! It’s dripping in sugar. We ordered the huge blackberry macaron with custard filling. It was really bad. The custard filling & macaron were not fresh - cost was $13.50 Also ordered the classic boba tea & winter melon boba with lychee jelly. Classic boba was ok but the wintermelon one was so so sweet my husband had to throw it away. We paid approx $36 and some change for 3 items. This was a complete waste of money. Do yourself a favour and go to Cinnabon 500ft away inside the mall & get a decent cinnamon roll with coffee. The place is decorated with a burst of pink everywhere.
