Wendy's — Restaurant in Mobile

I am writing this in regards to the unpleasant experience I had at one of your Wendy's in my city of Mobile, AL. It is located at 425 Schillinger Road South Mobile, AL 36608. First, I had to wait a fair amount time for someone to come to the counter to place my order. Second, my order was input incorrectly as one part of my order was a combo(MEDIUM size) the other was supposed to be just a sandwich with a SMALL drink(no combo). The combo was put in correctly, the second part was input as a combo incorrectly. I was NOT given a receipt during this time. I went to go inquire why my meal came to a certain total when I know it SHOULD have been lower than what I had paid. When I inquired I was told by Javian(spelling?) he had input my order incorrectly. Then to make matters worse there was NO ketchup in the entire building. I'm talking NONE! NOT EVEN ANY ON THE LINE TO MAKE ORDERS WITH! I know this because my son had EXACTLY none on his Dave's Double which ONLY was ordered with ketchup, cheese, and onions(which they left those off too). I understand being out of condiment packets, but for Christ's sake tell your customers if your establishment is out of KEY ingredients ON THE LINE, AT MINIMUM! Then the drink machine looked like it had been the victim of a syrup murder. I'm talking ridiculously in need of a wipe-down on one side. How hard is it to surface clean your lobby area and have it look presentable? Then cap off the fact that Keisha(spelling?) the manager either couldn't care about how the store front was being ran as when my mother inquired if she knew that they were out of ketchup (CLAIMS SHE DIDN'T KNOW, hard to fathom when she's TAKING AND FILLING orders at the drive through). My mother inquired couldn't someone have gone to the Rouses grocery store in the SAME parking lot as this establishment and bought some bottles of ketchup to AT LEAST be able to have it in the restaurant on the tables until more ketchup could be ordered or come in. No apology was ever offered for the inconvenience, hell, my mother had to stop and question her about it because at first she thought Keisha was coming to speak to us at our table. This also was NOT the case as Keisha was more concerned with what her elementary school aged child was doing in the lobby with her phone in the booth behind us(PRETTY SURE THIS IS AN INSURANCE AND CORPORATE/FRANCHISE VIOLATION AS IT APPEARED HE WAS ONLY THERE BECAUSE HIS MOTHER WAS). All in all this was one of the ABSOLUTE worst experiences my mother and I have ever had at a Wendy's EVER. Consider yourselves warned!!! DO NOT EAT HERE UNTIL THESE ISSUES ARE RESOLVED!!! Chic-fil-A is in the same parking lot, try the Lord's chicken instead.

*NOTE: I rated this establishment one star ONLY because Google made me so this would post, else it would have been zero. And the drink machine looked worse than the photo, I just didn't want to draw attention to myself whilst shooting a photo of it.

I've been addicted to Wendy's fries and chili for over 30 years. But since moving to Mobile all that has changed, their food never is fresh and if it's always over cooked. 3 days in a roll, I've wasted money. U tell them at the drive thru PLEASE MAKE IT FRESH and not burnt. They must be rewarming the fries. The food is always nasty, now they assured me everything is fresh but it wasn't and they're always out of something instead of posting or advertising it before u wait in that long line. They're slow and it's not about too many people in line.. I gave the food to a neighborhood cat he didn't eat it either 😞 My neighbors kid wanted a shake but they didn't have any so we ordered him something else, I bought a fry and drink this was Saturday. It wasn't fresh at all it tasted like water. Got out the truck went in place smells like sewage and soar it was folks sitting in their eating 🤮🤢 The young manager was rude, their finger were dirty. Too many young kids who don't know anything about cooking food, cleaning the facility. The workers were filthy like they had clothes on from 2 days before. The whole place smelled soar. All the food was overcooked, just bc you're getting a deal doesn't mean u have to eat slop. U know when the bags are not hot it ain't fresh. After the young lady swore everything was fresh. The manager made us wait 10 more minutes for fresh fries after they kept continuing to order another order, RUDE....He needs a hair net that looks like his hair was also fed up. Those kids are just their loss. Those kids don't know anything about the history of Wendy's and it pay to drive to Mississippi just to taste some...

if you’re going to take the time to read reviews PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS ONE. this is one of the most horrible establishments i’ve ever been to. not only is the wait staff incredible incompetent and disgusting but the wait times at this wendys is HORRENDOUS. i’ve had doordashes to this location multiple times and i will NEVER take one ever again.they never have your food ready when you come in or they have no recollection of even having an order for you. i’ve also seen seen some of them literally COUGH ON THE FOOD WHILE MAKING IT IN FRONT OF YOU. they will close off the store and make you wait in the drive thru for over 30 minutes only to tell you they don’t see your order on their screen. then why would my dasher app tell me to come to your location? they will tell you to pull around only for them to expect you to wait even longer to make your order. and when the girl finally brings out my order she’s on facetime and when i see there’s things missing in the bag she is incredible rude and yells ITS IN THERE! please do not waste your time at this location it baffles me that this establishment is somehow even still...
