After ordering a number of times from this location—for Delivery—re-routed to DoorDash without incident, today’s experience—including my conversation with the supposed “manager” at Chik-fil-A at the Bel Air Mall location in Mobile, AL—was truly pathetic. In more than a dozen delivery orders over the past few months, the driver has NEVER just set our order on the filthy ground. He or she did today, even though there were clearly a showroom full of people. I have never requested “contactless” delivery. Supposedly, they automatically have “Leave at Door” checked by default (according to the dismissive “manager” at Chik-fil-A; I’ve never looked for it, even noticed it, and definitely never made a point to mark such an absurd option as leaving FOOD on the ground), but even it that is the case on their app, never—ever even once has one of their drivers been goofy enough to leave food on the filthy (and in today’s case, also WET) ground. The worse part is the dismissive attitude of the supposed manager for a corporation known world-wide for excellent customer care & service. Definitely not today, though. BE VERY CAREFUL ordering anything for Delivery from that Chik-fil-A location, and DEFINITELY if it only uses the option of DoorDash. And don’t bother trying to reach “Customer Service” with DoorDash. They obviously outsource that to the point where it was beyond obvious that she was reading from a script, uncaringly impersonal. I do NOT make a habit of “ranting” on reviews; frankly, I rarely even leave a review. My reviews are generally through ACTION—ordering again and again. This frankly merited a review, and yes, a “rant.” Unprofessional, Unsanitary, UnCaring, and including the Chik-fil-A manager, truly pathetic excuse for what they are supposed to be known for, Customer Care & Service. And NO; I was not trying to get a refund. More importantly, I wanted to make sure I was speaking with a manager who Understood my problem, actually CARED, and took ownership to correct the lapse in their famous “Service.” Definitely disappointed on all counts. Read moreHonestly I was thrilled to place my order at this particular location, why? Because I am currently on the road delivering to Dollar tree stores. Without a car it a little bit hard to go your favorite place to eat!!! Well I was able to call chick-fil-A this morning to see if I was able to do curbside pickup but I am not in a vehicle. Make a long story short I was given the okay by the (manager Dea) I placed my $30 order around 10:54 while standing in the cold parking lot for about (20 minutes) no pressure. The lady that is in the photo had so many orders when she came outside. But the time she reaches myself she’s has one drink and some food. She stop and realize she handed the lady the wrong items. She turn around to FLAG the car down to stop so she can give me the merchandise that was already containment by someone else. Ask I as the lady for a redo as I didn’t feel okay with getting food or drinks back from another customer, the lady replied and said “the lady never touch it” as if she knew.. for the life of me I just couldn’t understand why would she think that is okay? Of course she caught an attitude went back inside her another black guy. She was pissed of course so I walk closer to the building so she didn’t have to come way to curbside 12 when she came back out the building she didn’t now have my items and mention that she will grab after drop these off first. No one like that should be working for a public service or company that is really huge on customer service back home chick-fil-a would never act that way!!! Read moreThis was the first unfriendly experience I've had at ANY CFA! I had to ask the cashier twice how she is doing today-she heard me but just stared at me. So I repeated myself & she replied curtly she was fine. They also closed their public restroom. I heard a customer say she had ordered her food and then had to leave & walk a good distance to a restroom then her food wasn't even ready on her return yet. Very slow, not that many customers & plenty of workers. The workers for the most part were taking their time at their tasks. The only genuinely friendly person was the lady who brought me my meal.
