Kingdom Coffee — Restaurant in Modesto

Here is my honest review: So you walk in everything looks cute and there is great reviews, so unfortunately it drew me in. Well, Biggest regret!!! I ordered a vanilla latte off a menu that was very minimal and actually had no description of any coffee or its ingredients/flavors. You have to ask and they are vague with answers. I ordered two of the tropicana drinks without espresso. Sorry but disgusting, tasted like club soda mixed with watered down pineapple oh and surprisingly had mint leaves which i wasn't aware of !! Now my latte, it tasted like old burned coffee almost like what i imagine tobacco water would taste like. Oh, and it had a surprise garnish called bergamont. So freaking gross. We went back in to have that 1 corrected because I almost threw it up. The big guy with brown hair (barista I believe) how do the nerve to make a comment and let me know that next time I need to make sure I tell them I don't want that in my drink. The funny thing is they don't have any type of menu. they have a sheet sized paper as a menu that barely tells you anything. They must have a committee that supports their coffee because this place is A NO , and to the owner, correct your employees. No need for the senseless comments especially if they didn't even take my order, PLEASE IF you want to make comments like this then MAKE AN ACTUAL MENU WITH what's in each drink or let customers...

My coworker recommended this place to me and I was amazed by its quality. Its sheer size alone is impressive—there are many seating options for large groups or the solitary student. I got the iced caramel latte and it was delicious; the flavors are rich and taste homemade, organic. The bathrooms are spacious and comfortable to use (no stalls, just single person). The whole atmosphere was somehow stress-free (perfect for busy students). Also, the service was great: all the staff seemed happy and easygoing.
