First off I did not sit in and eat I just ordered to go but when I walked in the place was cute and very clean. The customers sitting at the tables had different yummy mixed drinks that Iām definitely gonna have to come back and try. The staff was super friendly and welcoming even gave my daughter a candy cane. I ordered the quesoBirria taco dinner to go. The nice hostess said it would be 10 minutes so I went down the street to oberweise to pick up some eggnog then drove back. I called and the lady on the phone said they were just wrapping it up ,with that being said I sat in my car for a few minutes before I was ready to head in and get my food but I didnāt need to because a nice gentleman who work there Iām unsure if it was the owner or not, but came out with my food to my car which was totally nice of him! Now for the food. The rice was kind of bland and dry not a fan. The beans were not bad has flavor. Now the quesabirria tacos were tender and had good flavor just wish it had a little more of a kick as far as spiciness. They didnāt add any salsas which was a bummer. The price for the dinner and keep in mind I added an extra taco was around $31 for one person. Over scale 1-10 I would give a 7 definitely would like to try the mix drinks given I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisiting from California where there is no shortage of great Mexican food and a Bite of Mexico would stand toe to toe with many of those restaurants for authentic dishes and tastes.
Everything is made fresh and the cocktails were amazing. Food came out hot and the fajitas were sizzling. The carne asada plate was a 10 out of 10 for taste and it was perfectly prepared and we cut it with a butter knife.
Would definitely recommend the Birria egg rolls, ceviche (made with shrimp), and the Carne En Su Jugo was phenomenal.
Having tried Moleā with colleagues in Mexico City, A Biteās moleā is as good as many of those I had on those travels. Hints of cinnamon, chocolate and a lot of love is evident in this sauce.
Lastly the Carolineās Tacos were delicious and the perfect menu item that reminded me of sitting around the family dinner table sharing plates full of these tacos with friends.
The menu is a collection of family recipes from many different tastes of Mexico and a glimpse into long family tradition of its owners families.
My expectations were high going into the dinner and the food, service and atmosphere far surpassed them.
Canāt wait until my next chance to visit and try more dishes.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust WOW! We landed here by accident when the restaurant we were going to go to was unexpectedly closed. What a great place! Nestled in a strip mall, this family-owned restaurant takes home cooking seriously. Both the quesabirria tacos and the torta were literally stuffed with tender and juicy meat. Delicately spiced, the meat just melts in your mouth. Dipped in the consommĆ©, the tacos are over the top delicious. Homemade beans have a hint of chorizo and a good chunky texture. No wallpaper paste beans here. Beef nachos were overflowing on the plate and were made with some of the best homemade chips Iāve had anywhere in a long time. Steak tacos were tender and amply stuffed. I have to rave about the salsa and the guacamole! The salsa was the perfect texture and had just the right amount of garlic and the guacamole was perfectly chunky with hints of fresh lime. Donāt skip the churros They were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. A perfect end to a wonderful meal! Overall one of the best Mexican restaurants Iāve been to in a long time. Ask for Lupe as your server. Sheās friendly and really knows the menu. The owner was on hand and heās a really nice guy who definitely cares about the quality of the food...
