Horrible experience. Photographer was overconfident in her abilities, taking a single photo in each pose and happily saying, "Got it!". She did not have it. When it came time to review photos we had slim to nothing to choose from. The best photos she captured were individuals of my son which I said we didn't even need. I wanted family pictures and individual parent with child shots, which we did not get. The editing process takes too long as the company obviously pushes these tacky collage photo layouts that the photographer puts together before they will review the digital images with you. She took numerous phone calls during our sitting and helped other walk in customers all the while our toddler was slowly melting down. What's worse were her catty customer service skills. When I was reviewing the images with my husband in an honest and critical fashion, she chimed in to say that I was "pregnant and hormonal." It would be an understatement to say that I would never return to this location, and possibly any JCPenny Portrait location. I would not recommend coming here for photos, especially with young children. The studio books appointments every 15 minutes but takes over 45 minutes to do each session. My appointment was at 6:15 pm. I arrived on time as I expected a professional studio to be punctual and ready for my session. When I arrived there were 2 families in front of me waiting.

I have a toddler who is 3 years old, after waiting an hour and 30 minutes we were called for our photo shoot. Of course my 9 year old was fine, but my toddler had become so restless during the wait and cranky because by this time we were approaching her bedtime. We could not get one quality photo. This place is completely inconsiderate of people’s time and important memories. I’m sure it doesn’t matter because they get a lot of business but after multiple years of getting my Christmas cards here I will never be back after...

We had our 6 month old son's pictures taken by Sheri on 12/5/2015. We normally use a family photographer for outdoor family pictures, but we just could not coordinate a time before Christmas. So, I thought I would give JC Penney a shot. Even though she was busy with back-to-back appointments, she took the time to get amazing shots of our son. He looked adorable and I could not have asked for any better. I was not sure if I would like the quality of the prints that you can purchase from JC Penney directly, so I ordered the digital downloads. I did order some prints to check it out. The quality of the prints were great! So much better than having them printed at a local pharmacy or popular online sites. I was very pleased. We will be using Sheri again in the future!
