Additionally, today, we see that the watches are $300, but we would actually pay $336+ for the course of the contract. We are returning the watches and the iPad. 2. I was told that the phone trade-ins would be an even swap, but that was untrue. 3. You told us that the total that day would be $1200. When we said we couldn't do that, we were told we would have to pay a restocking fee of $220 (we didn't even leave the store). We found out that we don't have to pay a restocking fee if we don't open the package per the AT&T site. 4. Before we left, we were told that the final bill would be $265. It will be closer to $350. And when I asked you about that the next day, you double-talked me and lied again by denying it was the final bill amount.
I was lied to several times and misled just as many. Darius, you should be ashamed of yourself. You knew that if you had told us the accurate costs we wouldn't have accepted it and you would have lost a sale. We are returning everything and I've already filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. I thought you were so nice, funny, cute, and just wonderful. I was really duped. You should have been honest and laid it all out before us so we could make an educated decision. That's your job...to put AT&T in the best light, not be greedy for a sale. I'm very disappointed in you. We're out $110 (which IS better than the $1500 that we would have been out if I hadn't done my research after the fact, but still unnecessary if you were honest), and all the time spent stressing out and worrying about the costs that will be on our bill when you could have just been honest and upfront.
