We came for a post graduation celebratory meal and arrived not even 30 minutes after opening, so we were seated promptly. Our beverage order was taken and then our food order after the drinks were brought back. The menu is quite extensive with over 200 options to choose from including sushi, Japanese noodle dishes and even bento boxes. I was interested in the zero rice sushi rolls but the options were limited and I do not eat seafood (preference not allergen). Guests with me enjoyed the vegetable tempura, bento box with Philadelphia Roll, and the hibachi (salmon, shrimp, and chicken). None of us had seafood allergies but I did receive my chicken after the shrimp, and the shrimp wasn’t cooked off the side away from the other food, so I will advise anyone with allergies to make that clear up front depending on what everyone else is having. Overall, great service. The food was delicious and prepared with quality ingredients. The zucchini and mushrooms ::chef’s kiss:: Decor is minimal. The restaurant is nested between other businesses on a strip, so it’s not large per se, but the hibachi table accommodated our group of six with room for at least two more.

Never going here again! So poorly managed, it defies logic. I waited in a line of at least 50 people on Mother’s Day for almost an hour to pick up a CARRY OUT order. Not to place an order, not to wait for a table...to pick up a carry out order. Insane! That would even be unheard of downtown. Door dash drivers constantly tried to cut the line, zuki staff would not explain the protocol nor pick up phone when any customers called. one of the door dash guys wanted to fight me for stopping him from cutting the line. Zuki staff let him cut the line anyway and processed his pick up order in front of everyone else. Numerous arguments during the waiting period between those patiently waiting and the people showing up and assuming the line did not apply to them. All completely avoidable if zuki sushi had a basic level of organization or concern for customers. Final results were room temperature sushi in a leaky bag and a ruined mothers day dinner. Never again! Photo of the long line for carry out pick ups that moved incredibly slowly

Goodbye Benihana, hello Zuki! Ever since Zuki opened in our area, we stopped visiting Benihana! Zuki is just as good and better in some regard. They have sushi dining and hibachi dining in separate areas of the restaurant. Food is very good, you get ALOT. Each hibachi dinner comes with salad, soup, fried rice, noodles, vegetables, appetizer shrimp and the two main entrees + ice cream, all included. That’s a lot of food for the money. You will leave full. The hibachi dinner is cooked in front of you. My pictures show the scallops and calamari as the two main, plus all the above. Great stuff! No need to go to Benihana or Hamada.

Our chef didn't seem too into the whole thing today. The rice was cooked haphazard, it was just thrown all around the grill, and quite a few pieces ended up on the table outside of the grill area. The sauce on the chicken didn't seem to be too cooked in (it was a different texture than I have seen at any other hibachi, in any other state state I have ever lived in), like the sauce had too much butter and didn't spend enough time on the grill. The chicken was cooked throughout it was just the teriyaki sauce texture that was odd.

The filet was well cooked and the flavor was great. That may have been because it was one of the few things that was not covered in this compound butter the chef put on almost everything that touched the grill. The rice, noodles, veggies, chicken, shrimp... all had this same butter on them. The overpowering flavor was very noticeable especially on the noodles that got little other treatment other than the deep orange butter.

The ginger dressing used on the salad was more zingy than I am used to and that was a great flavor profile. Unfortunately, the salad bowls were served still warm from the dishwasher, this plus the over use of the dressing resulted in about a solid inch of dressing juice at bottom of the bowl after finishing the salad.

I got a salmon skin hand roll and the salmon skin was over cooked and the sauce was under utilized. It was alright, but had an air of bacon that was cooked a little too long (not burnt but well on its way there).

Nothing at all had any sesame seeds on it, which I found odd since they seem to be a staple of the hibachi experience.

We barely saw our waiter, I had to ask the chef to flag someone down to bring chopsticks, and napkins, and refill my drink. For a place that automatically includes an 18% tip this service certainly didn't warrant it.

For as many downsides as I listed, the portions were significant, and there are many things on the menu I would love to try. The sushi section is a significant portion of the menu, and they have a ton of rolls that sound great, I'd go back just to eat sushi. The menu is expansive and well organized.

My family all agreed we would give it another try, we would love to have a better experience; and if we did I think this would be one of the best hibachis I had been to in...

I used to go to this place to eat all the time but after today's incident I am done with the place forever. We go to eat hibachi and after we order I notice that the grill still has some leftover burnt food on it. I didn't think anything of it because I know that when the cook comes out they usually wipe down the grill first and then hit it with the flame. So I turn to speak with my wife and the cook does not wipe down the grill but instead just throws the food on the grill. I went to speak with the manager to let her know what happened and her response was "that was just leftover food from this morning it should be ok". At this point there is nothing they can do to fix the situation, so I tell the manager we will pay for the food we have eaten but we will not pay for the hibachi and we are leaving. For those that may not know when they clean the grill from the previous person they do use soap and water and other things to clean the grill, the fact that they still had food leftover from the previous cleaning, which may be infected by the cleaning solution they use, means that just became a part of the food that they are serving us because when he moved the food that he was cooking from the grill to our plates the food that was there when we sat...
