Came in absolutely starving with some work buddies. I ordered the all you can eat wings/shrimp/riblets for 15.99. The first plate came with everyone else's food and I downed it in a couple minutes. I placed my second order and Mayela (the waitress) confirmed it while everyone else was roughly halfway through my meal. When 2/4 people finished, Mayela brought the check out of nowhere. We didn't ask for it, someone was still eating and I was still waiting on my second plate. Not thinking much of it we paid, continued eating since we hadn't been finished, and I asked for the status of my second order. She confirmed it was coming. Since I had been waiting for so long I asked if I could just throw the third plate in too. Seeing how small the plates were I knew I could comfortably fit 3-4 and I didn't want to wait super long since they were closing in roughly an hour. Mayela said she couldn't put another one in since we already paid. We expressed that had we been told that we wouldn't have paid and we just wanted more of the all-you-can eat. She kept saying that we'd have to pay again if we wanted more. She then very abruptly said "do you want to talk to my manager?!" With the worst attitude I have EVER experienced in food service before huffing off. Mind you, we were being as mild-mannered as can be. We never raised our voice or pitched a fit, we were talking like adults before she had her temper tantrum. She still waited a couple tables before getting the manager which was not cool but there were bigger fish to fry. Josh, the manager, came to us a couple minutes later asking what was going on. We calmly explained the situation and expressed that in addition to the mix up, we really didn't appreciate the attitude she left us. Josh was super understanding and worked with us to figure out the best option. When he came back a few minutes later with my second all-you-can-eat plate he even admitted Mayela had never put the second order in the system! From that point on both Josh and a lovely lady by the name of Brittany took care of us the rest of the night and they were honestly rockstars. Before they took over this was about to be a 1-star review but they bumped it an extra 2 just for being so on top of it. I may have stayed and ordered another drink or something but I frankly was getting sick of the glares and stink-eye Mayela kept sending our way when she passed. Not that it really bothered me, just ruined the atmosphere.
Unrelated but there was an older gentleman that the staff knew very well that was celebrating a birthday at the bar and that was really sweet to watch and definitely made me feel a little better after all that went down.
I won't say this is the worst Applebee's I've been at, food was good and Josh and Brittany were amazing. I will however say Mayela was the worst waitress...
Read moreFriday night about 9:45 pm my husband and I walk in and are seated immediately. The person who seated us drops 2 forks,2knives and 2 napkins enrolled on the table and says someone will be right with you. The waitress walks over, no introduction, says what would you like to drink? Then never asks about an appetizer, just "I'll be right back" and walks away. She comes back with drinks and turned to walk away. Then turned and said "oh are you ready?" My husband asked about an appetizer, she points to a pamphlet on the table. We ended up ordering mozzarella sticks and a quesidilla. I then gave her my order and after she wrote it down she again turned to walk away. My husband told her he would also like the same thing. We waited about 30 minutes and our meals were brought out before the appetizers. She says " oh they didn't bring the appetizers yet, I'll go grab them". The quesidilla had no sour cream with it, a half a small cup of salsa, mozzarella sticks were good, our fries were luke warm and tasted reheated, my burger came with a huge piece of brown lettuce the curled up the sides of the bun, only a dab of the whiskey barrel sauce on it. When my husband asked for hot sauce or tobacco sauce the waitress told us they had nothing like that, not even at the bar. Needless to say we were both very disappointed. We used to frequent often, unfortunately we stopped because there was always something messed up. We decided to give it one more shot. Maybe the waitress was having an off day, but for me, it happened way to...
Read moreI wish I could take stars away, I would get it a negative 5. We were at Applebee's on October 17th. Myself my mother and son (for his birthday). The waitress was nice but we were seated at least 15-20 mins before other guest that were seated around our table. ALL of the other tables got there food before we did, even our appetizer! Then 10-15 mins after our appetizer came to us, our entrees came out. My son ordered a steak meal and my mother and I had the chicken and shrimp meal. My son's steak was NOT EVEN WARM ! There was no heat to the steak at all When the waitress brought our chicken meals, the bottom of one of the platters had mashed potatoes on the bottom and it smeared across the table. At that point, I asked for a supervisor. When Arthur, the manager, came to our table to talk to us, he was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE ! He told me that he was going to pay for the meal. After saying that, he processes to tell us "You can leave now !" He starts to raise his voice. Any paying customer would be upset if they waited 20 mins just for an appetizer ONLY AFTER OTHER CUSTOMERS THAT COME IN GET THEIR MAIN COURSE BEFORE WE EVEN GET OUR APPETIZER! Then for the person trained to represent your company acts more unprofessional then the person he trained. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND NOR WILL I VISIT THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION EVER AGAIN !! Arthur needs to take customer service training and sensitivity training. Or...
