Wish I could rate it zero stars. Absolutely nothing about this business is professional, from the constant smack talking of competitors, to the cheap handwritten signs all over the place, to the fact that they don't take credit cards. The absolute worst part is trying to custom order anything, which is what they push you to do, because "it'll last you 40 years," but it feels like it takes half that time to actually receive your furniture!
Ordered couch & loveseat last March, was told it might take 8-12 weeks. Finally received by Thanksgiving, 8 MONTHS LATER. They aren't bad, but certainly not worth the wait, frustrations, and outright lies. Every single time we went in to check on our order, we were given an entirely different story. First it was the factory on back order, then it wasn't the factory it was actually the fabric that was on back order. They have a new song & dance ready for anything you throw at them. At six months we asked if we'd be getting any kind of refund and the guy said maybe if the wait gets too long. We said, "It's been six months, what do you consider too long??" He finally agreed to refund $300 for the wait and then there was a huge run-around with that. My husband went back and forth from Thanksgiving to the end of January before we finally got the money, when we were told 2-4 weeks. (Do not trust any time estimate you are given for anything!)
I've kept from complaining online before now, but my husband had left a few warning reviews. Today I learned that this guy sent a harrassing note card to our home address because my husband had incorrectly entered the date on his last review that said we still hadn't received our refund. He said that he'd actually given us the refund ONE DAY before that and expected my husband to go back online and edit it and he'd "be checking up on it next week." Or else what, dude? You're gonna keep sending index cards to us in the mail? It was one online review out of many disgruntled customers with similar stories. You screw us over and lie repeatedly for 8 MONTHS on our furniture, then make us wait 2 MORE MONTHS for our refund, and then you have the nerve to harrass us over being wrong by ONE DAY?? I seriously worry about this guy's mental health and the fact that he knows where we live.

This is a reedit of my original review and the first edit. Ordered couch and love seat with 4 pillows, and 8 additional legs (taller). On march 17th put a deposit down and and paid in full 4-06-17 Was told 12 weeks due to the back order of the fabric. waiting a couple weeks after that to go in and ask about order. was told then he didn't know what was going on that it might be another 4-6 weeks. waited 8 weeks went back in, same story about not knowing whats going on. was told then that if we had to wait very long that we could get a rebate of 300 dollars back. we asked how long is very long to wait, at that point he agreed we had waited long enough for the rebate but wouldn't get it until furniture came in. Went in 2 more times got same excuses. Finally got our items on Nov. 21. Ordered March didn't receive until 8 months later in Nov. Was told at pick up of items that we weren't getting rebate that day that it had to be requested and it would take 2-4 weeks. I waited until 6 weeks went in to find out whats going on. was told that he would call and find out. go back next week was told that our check was in next batch to be sent out. go back again was told it would be at the end of the week of jan. 26th. I went in on sat jan 27th was paid cash and told the he cashed the check the day before so he could give me cash.
Due to reading other reviews with similar problems, i called the company that makes the furniture (best craft) talked to Danielle she informed me that the fabric was never on back order and that they do not have a rebate program. everything vinar told us was a lie. After 6 weeks I told him I wanted my money back and he told me that it would take 28 days, I told him I would pick it up and guess what the doors are closed and he is moving to a new store? I have called several times to pick up my money and no answer. I think that it is time to get someone else involved with this man taking people's money and not getting what he promised. He says that he does not have control over getting your money back right away that it has to be done by his accountants... this man uses every excuse in the world as of to why your purchase has not come in or why you cant get your money back in a timely matter. Maybe news 8 on your side would like to get a hold of him or maybe everyone needs to get together and take him to court.🤬 this is totally unacceptable.11/16/19 still not answering my calls.
