Bad Boy'z Pizza & Pub — Restaurant in Moline

Went here with my wife and sons girlfriend after enjoying the lighting of the Christmas tree at the John Deere Commons. Had never been to this restaurant before and thought we'd give it a try. When we arrived we were seated promptly and given menus. A few minutes later ordered drinks and food. Drinks came to the table and waited for our food. We were enjoying pleasant conversation, had a second drink (which, one of the drinks took 10 minutes to receive due to the waitress indicating she set the beer down and lost track of where she set it down) We never really paid attention to the time until I started seeing patrons that arrived well after us receiving their food. Our waitress came by at one point and asked if everything was ok. We indicated that our food hadn't arrived yet. She said she'd check into it. Never saw her again for another 10 minutes or so. Asked about our food again... With another waitress. She said she'd check into it. She came back with plates and silverware. No food. A few minutes later, wings that we ordered arrived but not our meals. Asked another waitress about our food. My wife indicated to this waitress that we'd been there for 1 1/2 hours. Waitress said she'd check into it. My wife watched as the waitress approached the kitchen and said there was a commotion going on in there. Appeared to be some arguing. Several minutes later, one of our meals arrived. Asked about the second meal.. she said she'd check on it. 10 minutes later, the second meal arrived. Waitress indicated that we wouldn't have to pay for the 2 meals due to the amount of time it took. That was nice but didn't take care of the disappointment/anger we felt with how much time it took. I believe we had 4 different waitresses during this visit. For our first visit, and most likely last, I wasn't impressed. We could have gone anywhere in the neighborhood to eat but chose this restaurant. Bad decision. Gather your workers together, let them know that the customers pay the bills and...

got a meat lovers pizza for delivery. the delivery time was about an hour 15 - a little bit longer than i had anticipated, but we wanted to try something new so we were ok with it.

**reason for 2 stars and not one: the delivery driver was great, super sweet & told me twice to have a good night! busy night, and still great customer service. doesn’t come around often! truly appreciated it.

pizza was room temperature when we started eating. the sausage was packed into that thing... and i mean layered. almost seemed like an uncomfortable amount. everything else on there was pretty much non existent, like they were running low and tried to compensate. however, it did not taste like sausage at all. definitely thought it was ground beef? not sure if that was due to the way it was prepared or if it wasn’t sausage but in fact - ground beef.

had quite the experience afterwards with being able to keep the pizza down. the taste of the pizza wasn’t that bad, we had both agreed it was a little above average. but we had to stick it in the microwave before eating. an hour later i was getting sick... i usually get a meat lovers when trying out new places and i’ve never had this reaction before. running a fever, and can’t even keep my water down!

not sure if this pizza sat out while waiting to be delivered, or was cooked with bad meat. i thought at first maybe we should have gone in to eat, but hours later still feeling the wrath — i know i will not be recommending this place and definitely won’t be ordering from here again either!

I must say. I am sometimes to be one that can easily leave a 2 Star Review but I have to leave a rare 5 Star because I have nothing to complain about. I have actually been to Bad Boy'z 7 times in the last three weeks. I have went with my good friend. My wife and my 21 year old. All have loved it and have each went back again themselves. I mainly wanted to go to have their wings but still have yet to try them. I can't seem to get past the pizza's and Pasta Bakes. My friend has had the Calzone that has been golden brown that he has raved about. My son has now caved and doing the Hawaiian our last couple of visits and my wife has enjoyed the pasta bakes. Our favorite is the Garden. It's like having a quality pizza without all the crust. But our favorite pizza thus far has been the Big Max. Taste like a Big Mac but better. As many places with great food you many times get terrible service but the service here has been excellent! The wait staff is attractive, pleasant and still very on top of it. Even the cooks in the kitchen get the food out in a timely manner. I recently told Brenna recently that if they would start serving me terrible service with terrible food, I would quit coming for a while. Well, no luck so odds are I will be back soon. There is a nice area a way from the bar for kids and family. Not that it applies to me but something to make note of as well as close free parking. All notes to make notice of for a downtown establishment which prices are more than fair as well.
