Last night me and my husband wanted ice cream so I ordered on the app around 7:45pm. I arrived at Dairy Queen around 8:05pm. When I went inside there was a gentleman waiting near the counter and another sitting at a table eating. There were 2 ladies at the front counter and 2 gentlemen working the grill. It was mass chaos while I was in there. One young lady was running all around the back in panic, another young lady more worried about cleaning fudge off her extremely long nails and the older lady was walking around mumbling. The older lady yelled through the window area of the grill " I'm about to quit!"(all customers could hear her). One of the men asked what was wrong and her loud reply was that the ice cream machine was not working correctly, it was crowded and her front end girls were falling apart". A few comments were made then one of the front end girls yells "I wish these people would leave and go somewhere else!". I hopped out of my chair and went to leave because I am not going to a restaurant who does not want customers. When I approached the cash register asking for a refund I was told they couldn't do that and I would have to go through the DQ app for the refund. The girl who made the comments hands me my order and says she didn't mean me, she ment those in the drive through. I reminded her we were all customers who contribute to the money that pays her. Guess from now on I will go to Scoops or Brewsters as I am sure they will be more than happy for...
Read moreUnfortunately there is not an option to put negative Stars. If there was that's exactly what I would rate this place. Me and my family go here pretty often and every time we have to repeat a simple order like Burger large Coke and a blizzard 5 times. And not only does our food always tastes old and cold but they cannot make a turtle pecan cluster blizzard to save their life. Now I will say there is one person there that can probably make it because I have gotten it a couple times and it's correct but the majority of the time it's vanilla ice cream with some pecans and chocolate chips in it. Now I've never worked at Dairy Queen but I've gotten the same blizzard for the past 4 years, enough to probably be able to make it myself. The staff there is usually rude and there have been times where we just had to leave because we were about to lose our cool with them. I would honestly have to say that the majority of these good reviews that they're getting probably are paid for because there is no way that this restaurant could possibly do any kind of good service. They're just lucky they're the closest one to my house because honestly I would rather drive to Dacula to get my blizzards then to use them ever again. Ohand ever blizzard we order isnt hardly mixed. Read moreFirst of all there were no patrons in the lobby but yet and still the drive thru line was literally backed up! I have ordered kids meals numerous times(which includes an ice cream treat), so once I received my order I was told that they had changed from the previous way and that I had to utilize a coupon in order to get the treat. I used the app to present the promotion that was expiring today(BOGO kids meal). The last couple of times that I have ordered from here the scanner was inoperable so I couldn't receive my points and that's the only way to do so. The manager was extremely RUDE and from reading the reviews this is not the first time that someone has complained about her. What she should have said is that I will go ahead and give them to you but in the future this is how we will be handling this moving forward. Evidently corporate doesn't care about their BAD reviews or their customers! Someone like this would/ should not be representing this company! Poor customer service!!!!
