Quincy's Family Steak House — Restaurant in Monroe

This place is filthy. Yes there were people in there wiping stuff down when it was people would drop stuff around the bar area, along the walls and the carpets it's disgusting, and the bathrooms are filthy I just turned around and walked back out. Waited around for the waitress to bring more plates to the table and refill my Pepsi and no one ever came so I walked over to this little area to put more Pepsi in my cup and that is a picture of the Ice dispenser with black and green mold in it where they were getting ice from for patrons cups. I'm so glad that I did not have ice, but this place needs a deep cleaning top to bottom it was just filthy. I wish we would have went in and looked around before we ate. It had a lot of positive reviews you people need to have your eyes checked. The food was Bland unseasoned. But one of the most disgusting practices that I saw where she would take something out of the steam tray and instead of putting it on a cart she would just set it on top of other items that were on the bar and that steamy water would drip down into the sweet potatoes or the macaroni and cheese and she just would Stir It In just mix it all into the food that was already prepared it was just disgusting. Of course we were finished eating before I saw her do that and if she did it once I'm sure she did it every time. Just some very unsanitary practices that they have. I will ever return there to eat and I will never recommend anybody go in...

Im going to start off with what makes this review a 3. I went with quincys with my family after church on a sunday. It was only 3 adults and 10 kids. 1 child was 12 so he was considered and adult and another was an infant 8 months so of course he is not counted. After paying we were waiting to be seated. We were asked how many and when we said 13 an older lady sucked her teeth. I believe she was the host. Each adult paid there own way with applicable kids. My mother noticed she did not get her drink. I asked to see her ticket so I could make sure she actually paid for it. I noticed she did pay for her drink as well as an extra child. She go up to show them and the same lady gets and attitude and say ok come up after you're done you gone get your money. Them 2 encounters brought the rating down beause she was very rude. However the food was good loved that its in smaller dishes yet you didnt have to worry about it running out so it was always fresh. Waiter was nice as well. If it wasnt for that one lady i would love to visit more often even though its 40min away. As a mother I feel like it was very affordable when compared to other establishments. The customer service staff and management was very unprofessional. I had a party of 20 with two senior citizens and a group of children all under 12 and asked would they be able to accommodate the huge size they didn't do anything with trying to put us together as a family or a unit of one even with having little children so the manager suggested we just sit ANYWHERE WE FIND A SEAT what does that sound like it wasn't a great experience we had to our self try and put tables together so we could all be joined as a group only still several other of the group not only sat at separate tables but far away to where we wasn't able to even socialize if you didn't walk to go to the located table they was sitting. Staff didn't seem to mind that they did nothing of a GREAT job to fulfill our experience as customer's to be a good one. Food for that matter was very distasteful I only indulged in a 🥗 only who goes to buffet and only eats a single salad. I encourage people if you looking for poor customer service and poor food quality then Monroe NC Quincy's is your place.
