Wendy's — Restaurant in Monroe

Went thru drive thru today June 12.worst experience ever had with a restaurant.I ordered #3 chicken nugget combo and a plain jr. Cheeseburger. The bag didn’t have any fries in it so I told the girl at the window. Another woman came to the window & said I didn’t order any fries. I said they come with the meal. She said I didn’t order the meal. I said I did. She said she would get me an order of fries and I had to pay for them. I said ok. They never give you a receipt so I don’t know if I paid for them or not. I had my wallet to pay for them and she changed her mind and told me to pull forward and they would bring fries to me. I said how am I going to pay for them if you bring them out to my car. She didn’t answer just demanded that I pull forward out of the way so they could wait on other cars. I pulled forward and waited with my money in my hand. Then when they had another car wait behind me she said they didn’t have any. Which was a lie. I said what do you mean you don’t have any French fries? She then said we’re not giving you any free food. Move your car. I said I didn’t ask for any free food. Mind you 5 cars went thru the drive thru while I was waiting. Now she said park your car and come inside and order and pay for it. I said no. You told me you would bring them out to me.this went on for a while. Then she threatened to call the police on me. I told her to call them. I didn’t care. Eventually I left. Worst service ever. I’m not one to leave reviews but my experience I just had at this Wendy’s was the most awful customer experience I have ever had at a Fast Food location.

One car was at the window as I was ordering, I was put on hold at the mic for 5 minutes to finally be greeted and asked for my order. I ordered a 4pc Spicy Honey BBQ Saucy Nuggs, a 6pc Regular Nugg, and a large fry. Tried to order a Chocolate frosty, didn’t have the chocolate, I asked for a vanilla, didn’t have the vanilla. I asked the lady, “do have any frosties” answer to that after me trying to get some sort of resolution was a berry variant. Decided not to go with that. So 10 total nuggets and a large fry, pretty standard for a fast food joint.

Pulled up to the window, was eagerly waiting to take my credit card. Sat there for approximately 10 minutes waiting, then the lady comes back to tell me to move up, said the fries had 1 minute and the nugs had 3 minutes. Parked in the location I was told, waited another 10 minutes. Went inside because I thought they may have forgot about me. Waited at the register for a good 5-10 minutes before some acknowledged me. Once acknowledge, grabbed my food that had been sitting there the entire time.

No apology for the 30 minute wait on a 10$ order. Nothing, at all.

I will not be going to this location again, management needs to step in and make changes or this location needs to be closed.

This was the WORST Wendy’s I have ever eaten at. I wish I could give 0 stars. After waiting for 10min while they dealt with a missing DoorDash order, they finally took our order. My In-laws ordered before us and waited another 10min for their food, only to be missing part of their order. We placed our order and after finishing they told us the frosty machine wasn’t working. When we finally received our order we were also missing items and the manager gave us attitude when we went up to ask for them and some dipping sauce for our nuggets. Our food was also some of the worst Wendy’s (or any fast food) I have ever had. The fries were cold and super salty and the burgers were dry and cold. The lobby area was filthy and trash was overflowing in all the trash receptacles. The counters were dirty, there were no napkins and half of the tables were covered in messes or to mention the floors had food and trash all around the lobby. The bathrooms were atrocious. My daughter also had a single spicy nugget in her kids meal which was unacceptable. We threw away our food and went over to the adjoined Tim Hortons to feed our children. A family heard our complaints and even left bc they saw the rudeness of the manager and we told them how awful the food was. Poor Dave, he would be so disappointed that his establishment is run like this. Save your money and eat...
