Old Town Pizza — Restaurant in Monrovia

We called and ordered food through GrubHub for my son who is in the City of Hope hospital with cancer. We also ordered pizzas as a thank you for the nursing staff. We waited for an hour for the food to be delivered and then we received a text at the time that we were supposed to receive our food from GrubHub stating that the restaurant had canceled our order because they were"too busy". I called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager and I was told that the manager is not there and is rarely ever there. When I explained the situation to the person on the phone they said the only people there were herself, the cook, and the delivery driver. When I asked why are delivery was canceled if there was a delivery driver there she could not answer me. I asked for the manager's name she said Albert but he's rarely ever here. I then asked who would have canceled the order and she said me my name is Anna. This is the most disappointed I have ever been with a restaurant. Even after explaining the situation to Anna she could not have cared less about...

Hadnt had this place in a while, we were here for the sorry excuse for monrovia days, and we went and ate there, the staff super cool, friendly, it was super busy but they all had smiles and were in a damm good mood, the food came quickly and was hot and tasty, the garlic cheese bread nearly caused a fight cause someone ate the last piece, the wings are baked, but if they were fried to give them that extra crispy crunch, id give them a solid 10, the pizza was cheesy and loys of toppings, this place has never been a let down, will definitly go back again. But the manager whoever he is, he has a great team, they work well and are very friendly,they looked happy and that is hard to find these days in any resturant,especially with young people, great job...

This pizza is so delicious! One of the things that make it so good is the dough. It doesn't have that dry flour taste like a lot of dough but it has a really good flavor. One of our favorites is the margarita pizza. We also ordered the eggplant parmesan pasta dish, which was outstanding! The sauce was so flavorful and you could really taste the garlic. I'm sure you could order any pizza and it would be great. They are located right across the street from the park and on a summer night, the weather is so beautiful to sit outdoors and dine. After enjoying your delicious, authentic Italian meal, you can mosey on down the street for dessert since this is right next to a bunch if...
