Wow! What can I say, George the owner went above and beyond on getting me a helmet I really needed. I slammed hard a few days ago which I received a cut above my eye. I was concerned and started doing my research on which one I should buy. Once I realized which would be best for me I started calling shops around where I worked. George called me back right away and asked if anyone reached out to me about my phone call. I told I him I was looking for a helmet and he told me he could accommodate me right away. He ordered it and had it ready the next day. He made sure the right inserts were there for a proper fit. Awesome customer service I will be back! I highly recommend George!!! I used to come to to this shop when I was younger and always had great experiences. However, I came by today and the salesman, Stephen, was very rude with an off putting attitude When my brother asked about used boards. He switched to a more pleasant tone when we asked to look at a few boards to purchase as well. He went out of his way to stop lecture my 16 year old brother as we were leaving about asking for used boards and he should be grateful to him for giving it to him at all. He claimed the salesmen there don’t like it when you ask questions....

It's a skateboard shop and they sell skateboard things; I think that's worthy of 3 stars to start. I've been in STIX maybe 20 times in my life and have never once been approached by an employee asking if they could help me out. I don't know how these folks were able to beat out Advantise Ride or United Boardshop in the SGV.

If you like being left alone while two or three guys talk to each other while watching TV and ignore you, you'll love it!

If you know what you want already, just buy it online cause they never have...
