Starbucks — Restaurant in Monrovia

Starbucks, COMPENSATE YOUR NIGHTSHIFT/EARLY MORNING WORKERS! I’m not blaming the workers here at all but this location is not always 24 hours as advertised. Over the holidays the hours changed — drive thru and cafe closed around 10pm — and that’s fine and to be expected. But tonight (Jan. 14) when I stopped by, they were closed and had a sign that said they would be closed at 10pm all week. I was disappointed, but I had a feeling the workers were probably weren’t being compensated fairly enough to work these late (and sometimes, dangerous) hours. I’m not sure of the reason for the change since the sign didn’t say, but I’m assuming, as is the case with lots of workers across industries right now, they were protecting themselves.

The two stars is for the workers because every time I’ve come around midnight (which is usually when I pop in during all nighters) the workers are always extremely friendly, efficient, and hard-working. But it’s pretty apparent there isn’t a good enough salary incentive to keep the business open for 24 hours. And I don’t blame the workers for wanting to close early. I am going through a divorce. This Starbucks had been randomly chosen by my ex-wife for me to meet and pick up my daughters. My daughters have been weaponozed to hate me since the divorce started. They tell me to kill myself and they tell me that they wished I would die...And many other horrible things (that have nothing to do with this review). My daughters have begun to rebel against me and they refuse to leave the Starbucks once they are dropped off there. This probably create a weird environment for the Starbucks employes to see a daughter and father not talking and staying there the entire day. The staff has been extremely kind, polite, not invasive and caring when their only mandate is to merely serve their customers. They have not gotten involved in what looks like drama and they have been super kind throughout this horrible ordeal. They should be recognized for their contribution to a father whose life has been devastated by the loss of love his daughters no longer have for...

The Starbucks in Huntington street In Monrovia usually has the best service 🤭😬but this morning 03/03/22 at 7:55am to 8:15 they took 25 minutes to give my hot coffee:Almond milk honey flat white small and a venti size mango dragon fruit , the dragon fruit I got within 5 minutes but the hot coffee 25 minutes and that’s because I ask what had happy to my order there where 2 people ahead of me complaining too one from the drive order other inside order I was not the only one with a screw up order that was not done wrongly or forgotten about after this experience I will switch up to the arcadia Starbucks on foothill street no matter how busy they are they never make mistakes And if they do they make up for I’m so 🙄disappointed they need to get it together or train this young workers to make their job more efficient Starbucks is...
