Tacos and Papas — Restaurant in Monrovia

This little restaurant is fabulous and they have excellent food and good service, they are very friendly staffs and professional there and they knew our names and I like Alonzo and Jennifer, they are the best and friendly workers there and they bring your food to you instead of waiting for your No# to be called and Jennifer and Alonzo are genuine, polite and respectful and they only do thier jobs and don't have time for others people's drama and they enjoy thier jobs they do with passion and I suggest the wet burritos, natcho plates and all the menu's are great and what is surprising is that Alonzo and Jennifer knows our names, me and Mrs. Santana and they even know if the movie knights or just walking around and the location is perfect for us and I miss the old school restaurant that have very friendly staffs and polite and walking in and they say hello and wanting to know thier customers and this is the place that brings back memories and warmth to the people's of Monrovia CA and I am glad now me and Mrs. Santana lives here, God bless Alonzo...

Food ingredients are select and seems farm to table. Another reason the dishes stand out. Such quality found in Mexican food is such a delight.

I’m not sure what the secret is, but normally when I eat Mexican food I always feel so full and tired after. This place, not the case. I’m going to associate it to food quality, but it might be something in how they prepare the awesomeness.

Taquitos, quesadillas are awesome 5 stars. Burritos and Tacos, try them all, the ingredients are awesome.

If I have a gripe to share, the tortillas are not traditional to what I’ve grown up with. But, they still taste great.

I seriously love this place. I’m only sad that I only recently discovered it in my hometown. First of all, the food is phenomenal. Everyone (whether you like meat, veggies, spicy, mild, whatever) is happy here, it’s the perfect place to bring your family or group that has a variety of food preferences. As a vegan, I LOVE that the choices they have! And every single ingredient is SO GOOD! The cauliflower and Brussels sprouts are the best I’ve ever had. And I love that they have both super spicy salsas (I use that one sparingly!) and medium and mild ones too. Lastly, the owners are such great people. I know that good food is what matters most for a restaurant, but when the owners truly care about you and the community and the job they do, it’s just icing on the cake. I...
