Mama Mac's — Restaurant in Montana

If anyone in your family has a nut allergy, or pretty much any allergy, I wouldn't eat here. We stopped here on our way out of town for a quick breakfast to go. From the minute we approached the register, the cashier was incredibly rude and did a lot of sighing and eye-rolling. We ordered two plates of biscuits and gravy, two orders of toast, two orders of hash browns, a fountain drink, and two carrot cakes from the glass display case (when she asked whether we wanted them with nuts in them, we said, "no nuts, please"). When the woman went to grab them, she verified that they had no nuts in them before handing them to us. We then waited for our food, grabbed it, got in the car, and started driving. Waiting to check was where we made a mistake, because the first thing we checked were the carrot cakes- they BOTH had nuts, which one of the kiddos was allergic to. The hash browns weren't cooked in the middle and the "toast" was two soggy pieces of bread that had never so much as seen a toaster. They'd graciously provided one packet of jelly for both orders, though! The biscuits and gravy were okay, save for the sausage being overseasoned to high heaven. The Dr Pepper was flat and had a strange wood-like taste (??? Just why?). We spent way too much on food of this quality. It's safe to say that we're never...

For a while, I was getting disappointed with Macs because of the customer service. The new owners are nice enough but I was not impressed by other checkers who have maybe just been there to long and don’t enjoy their job…but now there’s a checker named Cori who is absolutely awesome friendly and has definitely improved the customer service and seems to always be cleaning when I come in so I know the place is clean. It definitely shows that somebody is taking initiative and even when she’s having a bad day, she still puts a smile on and is super friendly and very helpful. There’s some checkers there that obviously have been having a bad day and it seems like every day must be going bad for them cuz it shows..one lady is jus straight up rude so I go in the evening mostly. Maybe they’re just tired of their job, but it’s a lot more pleasant now that Mac’s hired someone that can do the job properly Cory is a great addition to the store as I and other people I know had about had it with feeling like we were inconveniencing the crew.. I also must praise Rylie she’s a younger girl who works in the kitchen and has also always been very friendly and helpful and prompt with my order,, and has a broom and cleaning when she isn’t waiting on...

Consistently bad customer service, as you can watch half the employees doing nothing.

It is Veteran's day and as a Vet, I wanted to treat myself to Mama Mac's cooking. The food, especially soups, are always excellent. Unfortunately it is backed by poor customer service after you PAY for your food.

I ordered a quiche, and had them heat it up as a Togo. Should only take maybe a minute in the microwave? I sat patiently for several minutes, then stood up to try and get noticed. It was not busy, as I deliberately went in after the morning rush.

The person who took my order and put my food in the microwave completely forgot about me. Then another worker took my food out and place it next to the other quiche where it came from. Nothing said, as it sat on the counter for another couple minutes.

Finally I asked if I could get my food, which by this time was luke warm. At this point my appetite is gone. I feel worthless and completely blown off.
