This review may only give those placing large orders a perspective of my experience.

I placed a large order for my staff to enjoy on Friday, 2/28 for pick up at 2:30. Instead of placing it as catering, I placed as regular online pick up due to pricing. I was already preparing mentally that if it was required to place as catering, they would call me and it would be no issue. I received no call, and asked my peer to go for the pick up.

When he arrived and checked in at the counter, he let them know he was picking up the large order for our business. When the cashier confirmed the long receipt she had in her hand was our order, she stepped to the side to consult with another cashier. She then called the manager over, which was really the turning point of this interaction.

He has this sudden realization that he did not mention to his staff that there was a large order for pick up at 2:30, with my peer already being there to pick up. The three of them all look at the manager, waiting to see what the punchline was. Turns out, my peer did in fact have to stand there for an hour and a half while they made our food.

The manager also tried asking my peer to "cancel the pick up order and place it as catering because it was cheaper." When it comes down to containers/boxes, using 6-8 catering trays vs. 20+ boxes and 45+ containers, I can understand that that wasn't a considerate choice on my part. HOWEVER, I had been crunching numbers for a week and a half with different locations and portions. No, catering was not going to be cheaper, so please do not ask my peer to cancel an order that was paid for 2 days in advance.

I can, however, speak to the food. I cannot lie and say that the food wasn't absolutely incredible. For being able to put our stuff together in the time they did, it turned out amazing and I give full kudos to the cooks there. My staff absolutely loved it, and it was the best choice of food we've made all year.

This review is not to deter anyone from eating here. Food was truly great, although I can't say what the experience sitting down at the restaurant is like. It is specifically to address the lack of professionalism in alerting your staff about a large order, keeping my peer for almost two hours after pick up time at your location, and throwing the schedule off for my staff to...

First: I lOVE Cornbread. Their chicken is like the Crack of chicken - whatever is in their breading is SO tasty!

HOWEVER be advised that if using Uber Eats, contrary to the pictures they show, Your $23 and change for a 4 piece plus 2 tiny sides does NOT guarantee you a leg, a thigh, a breast and a wing UNLESS YOU SPECIFY THAT but ... YOU CAN'T DO THAT ONLINE. If I'm wrong, PLEASE post how and where one can do this on the Uber Eats site which your manager assured me I could do. Several times I got a slightly random assortment of chicken - NEVER an extra breast or thigh, just a replacement of a thigh or breast with a smaller wing or leg. After a missing thigh and breast meant 2 hungry kids, I called and was told that not only do they not treat each box as an individual order, but they are fine with replacing the larger pieces with the small and not even - for example - doubling up. While two wings do not replace a breast, a wing for a thigh and a leg for a breast means it's not even a meal. I was left scrounging in the fridge for enough food. I was told if I wanted what they actually SHOW on their website and on the Uber Eats site - one of each piece - I had to specify it. And oh BTW there is, in fact NO WAY TO DO THIS!!! I tried on the Cornbread site on Uber Eats on BOTH PC and on iPhone. I could find NO PLACE to specify which pieces one wants included. They want me to have to annoy them and myself by having to CALL after placing the order when ten minutes before closing they have ONE person working and are busy enough to leave me on hold for ten minutes as they - quite properly - need to handle people in store first. HEY CORNBREAD: if you're not going to default to what you SHOW which is still not much for the $$$ (but it's my choice to like the stuff or not) - then make it possible to...
