Our overall experience at cornbread and skillet in Montclair was exceptional ! What was supposed to be “just browsing”, before heading over to sweet tea’s for date night , turns out to be a full on experience at cornbread instead 😄 Thanks to Alisha for her outstanding service and warm hospitality . We ultimately had to cancel our reservation:) Alisha made us feel like we were visiting our favorite auntie , she ensure we had a great time and that we enjoyed the food which was finger licking good!Everything was a hit and seasoned to perfection. Like I mentioned, this certainly wasn’t on the agenda that night , coincidentally we parked across the street and while walking to sweet tea’s we discovered it and was curious and luckily for us it turned out to be a very pleasant and enjoyable date night experience. Alisha was exceptional, she was knowledgeable, friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we had the best experience and managed to convince us to stay . She win us over from our reservation / date night at sweet tea’s that night. She was generous enough to let us try different dishes by offering little samples and we ended up ordering almost everything on the menu lol . This was truly one of the most satisfying, memorable experiences I’ve ever had in a very long time! Can’t wait to visit again soon! This is what true customer experience should feel like . She deserves to be recognized for her hard work , dedication and commitment to the restaurant. She deserves to be honored employee of the month or a higher position with her skillset it’s a win 🏆 for any company. We can’t wait to visit again soon!
