TLDR: Dutch daddy is wildly good. Dutch casa crunch (cronut breakfast sammy) sweet and delish. The driver chicken cutlet sammy w fresh mozz and sweet red peppers and balsamic- slammin! When I finally decided to venture out of my normal order I did not regret it. Best decision. Amazing breakfast and lunch spot.
I’ve been going to Dutch’s since they opened. And sometimes they are packed and there’s a wait (hello! you have to wait for fresh food to be made) and sometimes it’s quick. The food is always outstanding. My husband orders the Dutch daddy no bacon and I get the Dutch casa crunch. The Dutch daddy is FANTASTIC. It’s saucy, fresh, and stacked with the freshest pastrami. Even though it’s my husband’s order I always have to sample it. Haha. The Dutch casa crunch is a glazed cronut sausage, egg, and cheese. Sometimes I get it with Taylor ham and wow that is also a slam dunk.
I recently decided to venture out of my regular order and was actually pleasantly surprised at how delectable my lunch sandwich was. I ordered “the driver”. I looked at a large (but not stupid large, just larger than I thought I could handle) chicken cutlet sandwich. Adorned with sweet red peppers, FRESH, FRESH mozzarella, and a balsamic glaze and a hint of special sauce (mayo?). Guys— it was ridiculously good. I finished the entire sandwich despite originally thinking I could not handle it. I am dreaming about it now and will likely order it again today for lunch. The chicken cutlet was made when top quality ingredients and so fresh. (I’m really picky with my chicken!)
The owner, Amir, really cares about his food and is passionate about making sure to create wildly delicious (and different meals). I want to see this church street staple here for many years to come. The crew here does an amazing job. They are hard working and put out FRESH incredible food. Definitely a spot with heart and soul. Give them a try and keep coming back. I...
Read moreThis is my new favorite sandwich shop. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. The sandwiches and wraps are 100 percent professional. Breakfast sandwiches are the best I’ve ever had and chicken cutlet was a 10 in my book. Here’s what I tried :
The Dutch Daddy** Hot pastrami, bacon, two eggs, muenster cheese, Dutch’s signature sauce, on a brioche roll
What’s The Dill? Chicken cutlet, bacon, melted provolone, lettuce, pickles, dill aioli, on a hero (spicy dill kettle chips were also added)
The Fairway Grilled chicken, jalapeños, red onions, lettuce, tomato, honey garlic sauce
Honey Honey Honey roasted turkey, honey ham, white American, lettuce, tomato, red onion, honey mustard, drizzle of hot honey, on a hero
The Chicken or The Egg What Came First? Chicken cutlet, egg salad, pickles, lettuce, tomato
My absolute favorite was “What’s the dill?” With fresh crispy chicken cutlet and dill aioli and second was the Dutch daddy breakfast sandwich piled high with juicy hot Pastrami. It was a tight place and only had 1 small high top table inside and 2 window seats. Seems most orders are to go. There’s also seating outside (obviously weather permitting) it had a cool retro theme inside and he showcases art from local artists which is awesome. Plenty of chip and drink options. Super friendly fast service. I cant wait to go back and try...
Read moreI'm keeping the review after this to reflect my first experience with them and our second party last month has me knowing that they will be our first choice for party sandwiches and salads. Amir is simply a wonderful person to work with. It's so clear he loves what he does and really wants you to be happy with everything. He literally talked me out of ordering a larger size of something saying he didn't think I'd need it and delivered everything 10 minutes before the agreed upon time. Everything is delicious! And thanks Ashley! Amir and Jim worked to make a lunch party with 35 relatives delicious! Their sandwiches are unique and tasty. We had an assortment of 4, all on different breads, all sooo good! Everything is so fresh, portions are good, and the greens are different (not the more usual shredded lettuce) and as with all really good food, the sauces/spreads brought out the best in them. Nothing wrong with mayo/mustard, but give me their pesto and spicy sauces any day! We also ordered a large green salad which had a variety of greens and shredded carrots, tomatoes, etc.....beautiful! And we really appreciated their fruit salad coming in bite-size pieces. Delivered exactly on time. Will definitely be back. They are delightful people to work with and clearly care about making the...
