Oli's Tacos — Restaurant in Montclair

I finally tried this place, because I love Chile relleno burritos. And I wish it would of been better. I ordered the Chile relleno burrito but it had no flavor and it was mostly pinto beans. I had to add salt and chili to get a decent taste to eat some of it. I didn't finish the burrito though. Pinto beans are already a negative in my book. If I go to a Mexican place or restaurant, they better have some good REFRIED beans. I don't want just pinto beans. I also ordered a carne asada wet burrito and that burrito was filled with mostly rice and a little bit of carne asada, so the hubby was very disappointed. The only person not disappointed was my daughter because she got the guesa-birria tacos. They were the only good thing out of everything ordered. We would only order that again IF we went back but probably not. Hopefully they can make changes...

I want to start with the fact that both people in the register today that I was helped by today were very rude. When it’s your first time trying a food place, you’re going to look at the menu for a few minutes that’s why we didn’t line up because we were still deciding. These two looking at me and my family like we’re asking them for money. The food is like a B+ not the best but ok. I just honestly wouldn’t come back because of these two. Management needs to teach these two about customer service because I won’t be the only one. It coming back because of their angry faces. Especially the one with the bob haircut. If angry faces and “ok” food are not a problem to you, then come. I personally don’t think it’s fair to come bring my money to get...

Oli's Tacos... wow!! One of the best tacos I ever had. Small mighty tacos, but full of flavor. In my opinion gourmet tacos. I got the sampler with two asada tacos and the queso birria taco. I was having a party of flavor and my taste buds were thanking me for this amazing food. They thanked me and said you are the best:), lol. Moreover, if you feel daring try your Oli's Taco with habanero salsa,but be careful it's very hot. Wash it down with one of their delicious Agua fresca. Come check them out and enjoy....
