Avoid This Place – Terrible Experience
My friend and I visited New Leaf Bistro (formerly Belvedere Lounge) on a Saturday evening this past May for an early dinner and drinks, and it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in a long time.
The food came out cold and tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. When we brought this to the attention of our waitress, we were met with complete indifference. Even worse, the manager, Kevin Josh, was dismissive and appeared to be under the influence himself — completely unprofessional and not someone who should be representing a restaurant.
To top it off, the bathrooms were filthy, which raises even more concerns about the cleanliness and standards of this place.
There was zero accountability, zero customer care, and absolutely no interest in making things right. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay far away.
This was the response from the Owner of the restaurant after the above review posted: "Ray Patel, for your kind information the place has a New Owner and Operator. There is No Kevin Joseph here long since. Please refrain from writing fake reviews for Bharat Patel. Be aware, the new owners will pursue legal action. The NVR system records over a year of 4K footage to prove you otherwise."
Let me be absolutely clear:
I am not Ray Patel
I have no connection to Bharat Patel or Gaurav Patel
Your public accusation and threats of “legal action” are not only false and baseless, they are intimidating and defamatory.
Rather than owning up to the poor experience I had — cold food, dirty restrooms, and dismissive staff including a manager who identified himself as Kevin Josh — you’ve chosen to attack the reviewer instead of improving your business. That says everything.
Threatening guests and making bizarre accusations only confirms the behavior I warned others about. Maybe focus on accountability and hospitality instead of surveillance systems and...

Listen up, folks, because my evening at this establishment was less "dining experience" and more "existential crisis in a questionable environment." I'm not one to usually rant, but this? This deserves a public service announcement.
First off, let's talk about time. I aged approximately five years waiting a mind-numbing 90 MINUTES for food that never materialized. Ninety minutes! I could have driven to another city, eaten a five-course meal, and driven back in that time. My stomach was doing the tango of despair.
And what were we waiting for? Ghosts, apparently. Because despite the glacial pace, not a single dish graced our table. When we dared to inquire with the attendant (and by "inquire," I mean politely beg for an update multiple times), we were met with the enthusiasm of a wet sock. Utterly unhelpful. It was like talking to a particularly uncooperative brick wall.
Then came the pièce de résistance: the "self-order" skewer station that was allegedly open for the evening. Desperate and hungry enough to consider gnawing on my own hand, I approached the "skewer chef." Now, I've encountered my fair share of culinary personalities, but this individual took the cake (that I wish I had!). Snobbier than a cat judging a vacuum cleaner, they flat-out refused to cook. Even though it was a SELF-ORDER station! The irony is thicker than the grime I started to suspect was lurking in the corners of this place.
Speaking of grime, let's just say the cleanliness level left much to be desired. I started questioning my life choices and my immune system's resilience just by being there.
Bottom line: Unless you have a penchant for wasting your precious time, enjoy being ignored, and have a strong desire to play Russian roulette with your digestive health, steer clear of this place. This wasn't just bad service; it was an Olympic sport in...
