T- KEBOB — Restaurant in Monterey Park

The experience is hands down amazinggg!

I LOVE this place!! The food was SO good! The service, literally everyone, was nice and on-it — kept quickly refilling our free side dishes without us waving down (Kbbq places don’t even do this), gave us free steamed egg, removing our dishes in seconds, checking in on us, refilling our water— we didn’t have to ask for anything or wave them down, including the check. The pace was amazing — it’s better than many places we’ve dined in.

Our favorites included the spicy cold noodles, spicy beef skewers, shiitake mushroom, and cold sliced potato appetizer. The steamed egg was so nice too!

The bbq skewers turns themselves, plus, the servers help manage your skewers most of the time to help you out. They bring your selections promptly, there’s barely long wait time— I would argue this experience is better than a lot kBBQ, including KBBQ. I would feel comfortable bringing friends and family here, especially with kids.

Borderline 4 stars. Overall experience was very nice. The price was fair, plentiful of options to choose from ie. Beef, lamb, chicken, rice cake, pork, seafood, vegetables and more! We ordered chicken, beef, pork jaw, Taiwanese sausage and rice. After ordering you get complimentary steamed egg which was pretty good just a little too salty. The food came out quickly and the cooking process was simple. Just put the skewer on this thing (I don't know what it's called) and it will rotate the skewers for you. The waiters would come by occasionally and check up on us, help us adjust the skewers as needed. They're kind and helpful! The meats was yummy. We got the marinated chicken but I rather get more of the marinated beef, that was super yummy! Also pork jaw a little underwhelming, could barely taste it then again you get small quantity of meat per skewer. The rice cake has a little kick to it, good flavor but also a tat extra salty. First time visiting T-Kebob and never knew it was directly across from the Mama Lu's on Garvey. If you have good luck, try finding street parking right in front of the restaurant or the surrounding area. However if you're not able to, you can park in the plaza where Mama Lu's is at and walk across.

Once you enter, you'll notice the restaurant isn't that large but you'll smell all the meat at once. My friend and I ordered only beef, pork, chicken, and scallops when we ate here for lunch. To our surprise, everything here was delicious. I enjoyed pairing all the meat with the spicy kebob powder they provided with a side of rice. I probably asked the server for more of that spicy kebob powder four times. Heads up though, if you order chicken, it will take a while for it to cook so I would stick with just beef or if you're adventurous, try out the lamb.
