bb.q Chicken North Wales — Restaurant in Montgomery Township

I waited it out to write this review because when I called them out they promised to make good. Today was their chance for redemption and they fell flat on their face. It started when we had a family emergency shortly after placing an order. Later, I still traveled to the store to pick it up and pay. The store was closed but the lights were still on and the mop was out. I called out "hello, hello, hello" and no one ever came out, I waited around a while before I finally left. The next day b.b.q called and the associate exhibited extremely inappropriate behavior on the phone. Despite him having been a completely unprofessional, I went into the store and paid for the order (that we never received). He was informed that he should be careful how he talks to people. The next time we ordered he got our order wrong. When confronted he said they will give us a discount next time and to make sure that we call instead of using an app. Today we called to order our chicken and we did not receive the discount promised and to top it all off the order was wrong again. The same order we have gotten for years. One whole secret spicy and one half and half plain/ secret spicy. Only recently did that become a complex order. I can't say I won't ever order again because it is a good product, but I wanted to share my piece to add to the other reviews I've seen on here regarding similar...

The best, crispiest chicken wings around. Very nice of them to carefully packaged the wings so to release the hot temps so your wings won’t get soggy if you take them home. This place is located in an Asian grocery store with a few other restaurants next to them. You will sit in a communal area so there is no waiter/waitress. You will have to wait 25+- mins once you order your wings as Korean fried chicken is fried twice so it takes awhile. The wings are super crunchy and worth the wait. The spicy traditional sauce is as close as you’ll get to traditional Buffalo sauce. It was very good but there’s a sweetness in the sauce that you don’t normally equate with Buffalo sauce. The spicy soy wings were top notch as well. I’d say the spice level is just the right amount most people are looking for in a spicy wing. Your mouth will tingle and you’ll feel the heat, but you won’t start sweating and your nose won’t run due to it. You don’t get blue cheese or celery with the wings which is fine by me as I don’t eat them but FYI. The only two things I’d suggest to them is providing some wet naps for your fingers and I wish they had even more flavors then the 8 they offered. Great place,...

So much chicken! Literally burned my mouth from how hot it came out the fryers! Was watching like a hawk for my food because it was taking too long but it was worth it. Decided to go with two types of boneless chicken and fries when I came here for the first time and I honestly had mixed feelings for the meal. The 1 pepper spicy sauce was fantastic!!! It had some really good sweet notes but with a bit of spice that made it such a delicious coating for good pieces of chicken. Wish I was able to get a side cup of just the sauce. Definitely try the radish, had it for the first time and I may be getting it every time I have Korean fried chicken moving forward.

The plain boneless were very disappointing though. They were tender and juicy pieces of chicken thigh but tasted like it was fried in old oil and it just gave an off putting experience contrast the deliciousness of the other wings.
