*WOULD RECOMMEND* For a Chinese-Korean restaurant in the suburbs, this place was beyond my expectations. The place is pretty big and located in a convenient area by the Assi plaza. They have a pretty extensive menu with a page just for noodles. The food was good and well portioned. Service was good too, the waiter constantly refilled the pickled radish side dish for us. *DINNER* Jamchamyon - combo of chajangmyon and jamppong in a divided bowl. The chajangmyon was soooo good. Love the deep blackbean flavor. They even give extra sauce and onions on the side if you wanted to add more. The jamppong was good too, plenty of seafood in it. Recommend this dish if you want to try more than one item. Squid Tansuyook - deep fried squid with sweet and sour sauce on the side. The squid pieces were big, and fried hard. It was a bit tough to chew but we also just dipped it in the sauce instead of pouring the sauce over it which may help soften the crispy exterior. May consider getting other version of this like the pork. *VERDICT* I would come back again and try their other noodle dishes.

Went there for the first time the other day and they seem to have several different noodle dishes! The attached picture shows the Bokeum Chajang for two that we ordered. It is fried noodles with onions, pork and seafood in black bean sauce. As you can see, it comes on a HUGE plate which visually makes it seem like a huge quantity. Lol. It was pretty good and very saucy (which I liked 👍). All the servers, hosts, and people who brought out our food were sweet, nice young people... but they would either forget to bring us stuff (like extra plates, forks, and extra water), they also didn't check on how we were doing. We had to keep asking them for stuff... Overall, we liked the place and want to go back to try several other dishes!

This is my usual Chinese-Korean restaurant in town but the last visit was disappointing. Our order was mixed with another table's. We ordered 쟁반 짜장 and received 삼천 짜장 instead. The server apologized for the mistake and gave us the original dish. It was clearly served to another table. The noodles and sauce were already cut and clumped up. It was not busy so I expected a little better service. In contrast, the 멘보샤 plate (sliced French baguettes topped with shrimp cake) was amazing. Dipping sauces were provided. I believe they were siracha Mayo and sweet/sour sauce. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a rich savory appetizer. Overall, I recommend Sang Hi for locals craving an authentic Chinese/Korean cuisine.

*UNSANITARY: There was hair-like particle in the food, restaurant refused to cancel the menu and still insisted that I pay for it.

Only Non-koreans or 2nd gens who probably haven’t had this type of dish in Korea seem to like this place without a proper idea of what an authentic Korean Chinese food tastes like. This is not how a Korean Chinese food is like at all- Absolutely lacks flavor, no depth to the broth. Most importantly, ordered Udon( which came out as a dish I’ve never seen or heard of. Has eggs spread all over the top of the noodles) and there was a hairlike particle. Told the waiter, who looked confused without any word of apology. They didn’t take the dish away. I Insisted on sending the dish back, to which they finally took the dish and ordered something else.

At checkout, it still had the price for Udon. I inquired. They said “It’s not our fault you don’t like the dish. So you still have to pay for it”. I told them that one, it was NOT Udon that was served (Had seafood and eggs in it, which I have no idea what dish they were attempting to make. Never seen, never heard) and two, there was hair in the food. They said it’s a “Korean Chinese fusion style” and insisted that it’s “not their fault, therefore I have to pay for the food that was sent back,” and claimed that two, the hair was not a “hair”, but what “NATURALLY” came out of the oyster LOL. I showed them a picture, but they still had the audacity to insist on making me pay for a dish that was sent back.

Upon arguing for a few minutes and showing them a picture they finally took it off the receipt. What a mess of an experience. Had a...

This is my first ever time writing a review for a restaurant but me and my family’s experience with the service here was so TERRIBLE that I HAD to make a review.

The hostess that worked was extremely rude and curt to us (And despite me LITERALLY working in the service industry in NYC of all places) told us that despite every other booth being empty, she refused to seat us in a different booth away from others. I know how this ‘seating’ thing works too, she just didn’t want to do it.

Ma’am, I hope you’re reading this because we still gave you a tip WAY more than you deserved. EVEN THOUGH it took 5 minutes to get a refill of water after my dad had a coughing fit. EVEN THOUGH it took 8 minutes for you to take our order (in a restaurant where most people know their orders when they come in…) AND EVEN THOUGH you let a solicitor come in and bother me, my family, and SEVERAL other customers for their signatures during our meals, while you stood there watching as he tried to convince me for my signature. I saw you standing there, ma’am. And you did nothing to stop or make him leave.

Sure, you can say I’m being nitpicky but this hostess was not in a good mood, and she acted like it. I even talked to the manager after the meal and the man did NOT care. You can tell he’s heard the same things about her before.

The hostess must be a family friend or family member of the owner, because with the amount of complaints that other reviews also share about the hostess, her continual employment is worth noting.

PS. I’m so frustrated by this restaurant’s service that; Owner, I WANT you to respond to this review. I dare you to tell me I’m wrong and that you don’t know which hostess I’m...

Very bad service. Whether they are busy or not, the servers never come to wait on you. It tool 20 minutes for someone to come to our table for us to order. We come here very often. We almost felt that they didn't want any customers. A newly hired waiter was friendly, but all the others were just doing their own things and standing around far away. Even when there weren't much people in the restaurant, they were just talking themselves and seemed like they were mad if we ask for water or more side dishes. I wanted to call and talk to the owner several times since the owner is not present anymore. The service here always ruin our family outings, so I will be very hesitant to come here anymore. And the food quality went down, too. There are other similar restaurants near by in North Wales, Blue bell, and Skippack. ... Check other places. I hope the owner knows the servers hate to work here. The waitresses were almost very mean... They need to hire new people here with better pay rate to fix these issues possibly? (Seriously they were hiding from the customer so that they don't have to wait on the...
