I would like to share my recent experience at your café around 3 PM on Saturday afternoon. A female staff member wearing glasses took my drink order. The café was very busy and noisy, and the counter was crowded with customers. I would like to believe that this may have contributed to her mistake in taking my order.
However, especially during such busy times, I believe it is essential to double-check orders with customers and ensure that a receipt is properly issued. Although pressed the print button after payment, I was not provided with a receipt.
After placing my order, I selected some pastries and returned to the counter, only to find that my drink was still not ready. Only a green matcha latte was sitting there. When I inquired about my drink, the staff member insisted that the matcha latte was mine. I explained that I had ordered an iced latte, but she insisted otherwise without offering an apology.
As someone who also works in the service industry, I believe that confirming the customer’s order and responding politely when issues arise are basic expectations. Unfortunately, aside from the Asian staff members, many of the other employees appeared unfriendly and had intimidating expressions, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable.
Although your café is only a one-minute walk from my home, this experience has left me unwilling to return.

Read moreI love the products at this store. They are delicious, but the service is very interesting. The gentleman who took my order was awesome. The lady with the glasses who gave me my drink was overbearing and dismissive at the same time especially when I asked about the straws. I initially asked the gentleman who took my order about individually wrapped straws and she inserted herself into the conversation and proceeded to tell me where the straws were. I knew where the straws were. I want to find out if they had straws that were individually wrapped. As I was explaining this to her, she started talking to another customer. She’s rude and unprofessional. The straws that were available were not even arranged in away where a person could take one without touching other straws. This is very unsanitary. Additionally, they are not straws meant for smoothies or thick drinks so it was hard to enjoy my smoothie unless and let it melt. Read moreI’ve been here a few times. They claim to have lots of options but they are often out of many of them. After yesterdays experience, I won't be back. I picked up a few cream cheese and fruit pastries for my kids and ordered an iced matcha with oat milk. The place was basically empty and there wasn’t a single person in line. There were 2 guys behind the counter. Apparently, one of them thought it made sense to shove my fruit pastries sideways into a bag, because when I took them out at home, they were a squished mess 😞. I know he’s not new because I’ve seen him before and they normally put this type of pastry in a box. The other guy started making my “oat” milk matcha with regular milk. If I hadn’t been watching and questioned it, he would have served me a whole milk matcha and I have a dairy allergy! The guys looked completely bored and it’s obvious they could care less...
